I've been driving Merc's for 30 years. started out with a 210 then got a 211. currently driving a 212 wagon. they say -once you drive a merc it's hard to go back-. there is some substance to that saying.
One thing I can say about driving Merced for almost 30 years is that every new model is a considerable improvement to the outgoing model. I remember when stepping into a 211 after driving a 210, it felt like such an improvement in luxury. so I'm sure the 213 will surely impress me. it truly is the -ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE-

Mercedes Benz E Class is legendary reliable. That's why they are used as taxis in Germany. You also see some Volkswagen and selten Opel Insignia and Toyota as Taxis here. Almost none BMW or Audi is used as Taxi in Germany though. I suppose because of the lower reliability. Also Mercedes produce special E Class models as Taxis, as far as I know. There is however no visible difference to the regular non Taxi version that you can tell.

-The best car in the back seats in this class-. I really don't understand how the space it's not roomy enough when taking into consideration the size of the car. Specially in the middle seat. I took a taxi and I could barely put my feet under the front seat. And it seems it's the same with 5 Series and A6. I'm not surprised people are changing to the urban SUVs.

These things are mainly used as Taxi cabs in Europe. I rode one recently there and was underwhelmed and how cheap the interior looked and felt in comparison to the previous W212 and even the current G30 5-Series. These are the equivalent of the Ford Crown Victoria, maybe durable and functional but W213 looks and feel cheap and nothing special.

I absolutely love my 2018 Mercedes Benz E300! It turns heads, its a thrill to drive and I feel safe on the road with! I have owned more than a few of the German 3 (Audi A4 & A6, BMW 3, 5 & 7 series, Mercedes e320) and by far, my E300 is my favorite. I know this video was done years ago, but I enjoyed it!

The eclass being used for a taxi is the reason my dad won't get one. he's Asian so random people try to to stop and get it mistaking him for a taxi driver when he had it as a courtesy car-

Ive always thought of the big 3 Germans the same. Mercedes does luxury the best, BMW has the best driving dynamics by far, and audi is a bit of a middle ground- decent to okay at both.

I don-t understand Mercedes line up why would you buy this over the c class when they look the same and you can used that saved movney for additional extras
