The Honda HR-V has sized itself to directly rival the Nissan Juke and Renault Kadjar but can it still cut the mustard, since the old Honda HR-V went out of sale in 2006? Let Mat take you through a full review in full 4k of this SUV, and see for yourself whether it's worth the extra price

This is the worst car I've ever come in touch with. It was terrible in ways I didn't expect a car can be ranging from a lifeless 130hp engine, inadequate gearbox where you need to shift into 4th on the highway and to add to that the gear knob was so far forward and away from the driver it gave me shoulder pain almost immediately and I'm 6'2 with a decent reach. Ridiculous seating position where you are pushed into the door and offset to the steering wheel which also had an embarrassing ergonomics where the 3 and 9 holding position had obstructions behind the wheel where your fingers would rest/grip and was impossible to hold comfortably. Absolute nightmare, can't recall a single good thing I can say about this car.

This car has a design flaw. I bought a 2021 HRV on March1, 2021 and
noticed an irritating piercing whistling noise on my way home when I
cracked open any front window or moonroof. I brought it back to
Huntington Honda twice and they said they test drove 2 other new HRVs
and they made the same horrible noise. So I'm basically told this is
normal on all HRVs. I wonder if Honda has a design flaw or whether
Huntington Honda is sitting on a bad batch?

FYI. As of 2019 models they have improved the infotainment system, it now supports Carplay and Android.
I have this on my shortlist for 2021 (upgrading from a 2012 Honda Jazz. The only thing holding be back is the engine as automatic transmission is a must for me. The Noise doesnt bother me much (Jazz had same issue) but my Jazz really lacked alot of pep when accelerating, you really have to floor it to get going. Anyone know of they improved this.

My father in law bought one yesterday.
For 24. 000 euros you got a noisy engine/cvt under hard acceleration a horrible resolution on back up camera, a non-user friendly infotainment system a NO light in the glovebox. My 95 and 97 Mondeo-s have this standard.
In order to lift the cover of the arm rest you have to put the hand deeeeeep inside backwards in order to push the button to release it.
Japan sucks.

Just thought of a useful invention for a car.
Fit a flush inset upside down letter T shape long handle on the back of the rear seat that pivots at the base of the T shape so you can easily push/pull the rear seat into position when your stood at the back of the car instead of straining yourself trying to pull it back at the top of the seat or mess about going to the rear door and pushing it back into position.

This was almost a good review but you like every other dumbass car reviewer who doesn't get what a cvt is for. That -drone- is what makes it accelerate better than a planetary automatic. If you don't want to hear the engine so much, lift your foot partway off the gas every few seconds and it will -upshift- to slow down the engine while you think you're -catching the next gear-

Ive got virtually the same spec and the wide alloy wheels really bump over bad surfaces. Also the steering lock is terrible. The body has a little bit of flex in the middle too, the occasional noise from the window frames over bumps. Good points are the interior is pretty nice and the space inside is amazing. The moonroof does take some headroom out.

Not being able to buy a 4WD version sucks, especially as we in the uk are paying more for the ex model compared with the other countries, still no Apple play, nice car to drive but there-s better out there with more extras and more mpg, plus you don-t have to wait 5 months for delivery.

Can you review the Sport that just came out? I-m in the US but have been following this release with baited breath and am so excited it finally came out! I-m hoping it will make its way to the States by the end of the year, but I want to know your thoughts. Thank you!
