Just when I tough people cant be bigger idiots then they are someone find a way to prove I'm wrong.
Please somebody explain what the hell is the point of gesture control? Instead touch the screen and move now I'll do the same movement without the touch BUT I'm interesting if I have fight with my girlfriend in my car and and gesture a lot what will the car understand and do!
But most of all, like in BMW to turn the volume up instead turn a simple knob (which works more then perfectly and precise for the last century) I must wave like complete idiot hoping that will turn the bloody music on or off.
Yeap darling - I always knew it, people are idiot - this is just another prove!

MY opinion is that new VW golf is such a boring car like his previous brother. not really improved and only good thing about them is how the're drive but that's all. It just looks so similar to all previous golf's. boring sorry. I think Peugeot did a great job with their 308, 3008. that's what I mean improve car! from exterrior to interrior! -

excellent kit in the golf. audi merc and bmw should take notice of what volkswagen are offering. Manufacturers like Honda too offer a lot of kit on relatively cheap cars. in a way the entry level premium German offerings need to step up their game and offer the same without breaking the bank in costly options to offer more than just a badge.

Any news on how they will fix our 2. 0 TDI engines? This bunch of merry men have clearly move on while I will lose value to my car, lose power when they finally fix the software, while my car at the moment spewing poisonous Nitrous Oxide above the what the law stipulates. what a bunch of criminal's they should hang their heads in shame.

Such a waste, what's going to be next year? the one with yellow rims and fake scoop? They produced this model for so long but started to release the exact same model with some excuses to sell it. -oh shit! you have hand gestures now! some cool LEDs! and the rims from a beetle! so hi- tech-

Nothing new - Golf is becoming even more boring. It's way off the initial idea of a hatchback. I mean what kind of people prefer it over the Astra, Civic and Focus? Damn, even Corolla is cooler nowadays: ) And if you so much love VW and want a -grown up- car just buy a Passat.

Won't there be a 1. 0 TSI? Been waiting for it for some time to arrive in Scandinavia, but nothing here: (
I do like the -cockpit view-, or what it's called, from Audi with the GPS in between the speedometer and rev counter.
I don't like that they removed the volume knob.

Looks ok but German reliability has gone down the toilet of late. I had nothing but problems with my Passat (and I wasn't the only one, the forums are full of people having real problems including rust on a car less than a year old. I got shot of it after 6 months.

Thats a lot of complicated technology in one car! Not sure every buyer will know how to use it all and take full advantage of its capabilities. Nice motor nevertheless! Hope that new 1. 5 is more reliable than the old 1. 4!

Definitely prefer the 2016 version. The rear of this new model just looks too bulky, coupled with the unbearable fake exhaust tips. The original MK7 is much cleaner, more sleek and aggressive.
Thumbs down for sure.
