In the process of swapping my Merc out for the BMW 5 series. oddly enough, I like the way the BMW handles much better than the Merc. I prefer more plurality/duality (luxury and comfort. There are days when I like to drive with a purpose and days where leisure is preferred. From having owed a Merc, it makes me feel older (I'm 30. As I actually get older, I appreciate understated luxury a bit more. The Merc is definitely a softer, more luxurious ride. In the end, it really comes down to your car suiting your personality. A year over year cost to own comparison would probably edge one over the other. which my gut tells me Merc wins there. But from what I've heard and seen, it seems BMW has made big improvements and more competitive on that front as well.

Here we have a mercedes on the one hand and on the other hand look here it is a bmw such a comparison is an oddly obvious one why note compare these 2 cars to 3 toyota corollas for the same price? Do you see where I am going with this? Alright? But as you have done this comparing we shall discuss it in great details: you say the bmw is the winner i agree but what do the mercedes fans say? There are not here to choose so we must stand up for them and say alright, even the mercedes is nice. I daily take uber black and the rear seats in the BMW win. There is no thigh support in the Mercedes for a man of my hight ( 185 cm ). The rear seats in the Merc feel like a bench, awful. The suspension in the BMW 5 series is better than the standard e class. No uber black is bought with air suspension, it's a business. They want to make money first of all and then please the client.
I'm a Mercedes fan but BMW 5 series wins over all. Bros right. The seats are better, the handling is better, it's more spacious too. Now the s class spanks the 7 series like floyd spanked canelo. But the 5 series is better here

I feel like people don't give the current BMW generation enough credit for their cars' exterior looks because they look too much like the previous generation BMWs, but that's only the case due to BMW's previous-generation cars looking really innovative and beautiful for the time they were in. I mean the previous generation 5 series came out in 2010, and it genuinely still catches my eye when I see one on the road.

I have the E300 and I think it-s better than the 5 series. The look, the interior, the infotainment center, the gas mileage, the stitching. The ONLY thing I think the 5 series has the E300 beat on is the -drive. - It-s made more for the drive, while the E300 is made for the luxury more or less. Both cars are dope though. Both are Classy. -

tested both cars side by side last week. (end of may 2021. cars are almost perfect fully loaded. Imo merc took the crown as it looks and feels ages in front of bmw. it is like a class above bmw. Merc is like a wife and BMW like a high class hoe that will blow your mind and do crazy shit. In the end we all go back to our wives.

BMW 5 series looks better than Merc E class to me, boot can-t fit anything. two boxes and it-s done! Back seat in BMW is definitely not comfy for the big and elderly, though front seats are very comfortable and do offer decent options, haven-t tested the same in E class yet. but why would you race a BMW in comfort mode?

This dude is so biased against benz always moaning about some small plastic pieces the bmw and audi have the same plastic pieces yet every time he doesnt mention them. I could even see the same plastic trim at the back in the bmw like the mercedes hes a bad reviewer and a liar

I-m currently trading in my 1st gen Mercedes CLS for a BMW 5 series. I-m a bit pissed that I need to get an imported version to get Live Cockpit Professional. and that-s bloody expensive. Costing another arm and leg. Still, pretty good.

So, Merc was cheaper, more fuel efficient, faster, with better boot, prettier, had the more confy ride, had the posher interior, but lost? Infotainment system? Well, yes this could be crucial if we were comparing laptops.
