Mercedes AMG GT63s E performance would have been a better match because it may have 800 HP but is also a lot heavier so it wouldn't have been an unfair Drag race. still it did well considering it had less than 600HP

I would still go home in the audi but have to say merc amg put the v12 bi turbo back in it and i think it would have won as the v8 is pants considering its weight just saying

The AMG seems good as a GT, it’s not the rival to the Audi and the Porsche like the old one was though. I view this as half way to a Conti GT rival given the weight

R8 GT wins with looks, sound. The 911 Turbo is just that bit faster because it has a turbo. Only weak cars do have turbo’s.

Launch the 911 TS all day it never fails. Audi R8 GT Evo 2 is a Track Weapon. AMG GT 63 not bad as well in terms of performance considering the weight.

The amg is slow slow, the last version of that car was slower than an M5 and so is the newer one! Amg really knows how to make a heavy car

I did test drive a M8 competition which should have been in this race. It is a lovely car! I cannot wait to test drive this Merc in the future.

As the supposedly glorious end of an era of the Audi R8, this GT is a bit underwhelming. Should've been as crazy as the STO at least.
