its not a tesla beater its just a mercedes like the others! how much innovation has mercedes brought to the industry? They dont need to compare themselves to Tesla at all. Im not saying mercedes is better or anything im just saying mercedes builds quality cars over a hundred years, sure there were up and downs but these days mercedes cars are great to drive and safe. this car is not just for tech lovers but simply for people who want to drive a good car everyday without worries.

God damn how are y-all so dumb. This isn-t a -Tesla killer- or even a competitor. It-s a market probe, they want to see if people will buy an electric Mercedes. They could easily develop an inherently better electric vehicle than Tesla, but they don-t yet know if their customers want to buy one. They have the money, they have the infrastructure, just not the consumer base.

What is a -Tesla beater-? This car looks like a GLC because it IS! It is a GLC stripped from petrol components and fitted with EV where the petrol parts where, nothing else.
Here the EQC problem: it is made for brand loyalist that are gonna have a hard time selecting it over the GLC. If it can-t within brand fans, how would it do among the general public?

It isn-t a Tesla beater. It isn-t nearly as advanced as the Tesla, nor does it have the performance. For the next few years or possibly even decades, Tesla will be the leading electric car manufacturer due to their charging network, charging speed, and their battery range (all of which are much better than what Mercedes has to offer.

The taste and colors are not discussed, so it is normal to have differences of opinion, the most important for us is to be sure that Tesla, Mercedes, Audi and all electric SUVs will keep their promise in matters reliability, performance, durability and not paying a fortune for the acquisition and recharge of these.

There's really no point in comparing the four becaus all crossover suvs are pretty much the same shape. Just different badges. I think the tesla looks the best but it's a ground up vehicle not a conversion of some other gas powered vehicle. I have no respect for conversions unless they're diy.

EQC should not be in the same sentence as TESLA. This is a Glorified NISSAN LEAF (200mi EPA/ 150mi real world/ 95mi in winter) Poor efficiency! I am not paying an EXTRA $50, 000 for a -well trimmed interior-. NAh! no! That's a poor return on investment!

Stop the -Tesla-killer- clickbait titles. It's a new, great electric car. Nothing more. We should be happy with all the innovation that would otherwise have taken years more to appear without Tesla. Anyways, great video!

Sure would be nice if these car companies could put some R&D into new materials for seats and trim so we don-t have to sit on the skin of a dead animal (aka leather) - seems like such an old and obsolete way to do things.

Hi what is the lifetime of an electronic car battery, a mobile phone battery starts to degrade over time I take it the same goes for these. That then makes me wonder what that will do to the used car market.
