Gordon s designs are the complete antithesis to the likes of Bugatti, Lamborghini, Pagani etc.
As he says, it s all about the driving experience and making the greatest drivers car in the world. Not the quickest to 60 or the highest top speed. To do this you have to make it small and light. If any car could be described as an engineer s car it would be one of Murray s.
And yet they are surprisingly practical in that they have luggage space, are easy to get in an out of. And have space to put your sunglasses.
To be a great drivers car also means wanting to choose it as an everyday car every day.

Great video. This is really an amazing car. Understated and elegant and you can see that every millimeter was engineered to be the best for its purpose. You could just stare at it for hours as a piece of art, yet something about it, especially the spider make you just want to jump in and drive. It makes most other modern cars look overwrought and silly, to be honest. Like a fine watch, it doesn't need bands of diamonds or to be showy and won't be the first thing that catches your eye in a room of supercars, but when you look closely at it, it will be the one you keep coming around to look at again.

Seeing that interaction between Mat and Gordon is just absolutely priceless. The fact they were both having a laugh while taking the vehicle serious is what an awesome CEO should be. Wow, I never would've though the Murray himself would own an All-new Suzuki Jimny in his car collection. Could we also get a review on that T: 50 carwow please? We need to see Gordon drive down to do a drag race with you Mat. That would be so god damn good to watch.

Alpine a110 doesn't get the credit it deserves in carwow it is the freaking benchmark for Gordon Murray cars and his daily driver when he can have about anything else and in the review you didn't give it the go right ahead and buy it I have one on order and wouldn't trade it for any car in it's price point and not even for some much more expensive cars

I would love to know the actual production cost of a 1 million quids car. I reckon it doesn't cost more than 250k to make. I'll stand my ground until proven wrong with actual numbers.
No car in the world is worth a million quid unless there's loads of precious materials used. And no. Carbon fiber isn't one of them. It's actually very cheap.

why is it that car manufacturers make everything themselves (or at least buy white label from others) except for tires? you do not see any branding on any car in this world except for tires. is michelin just so far ahead and cheap that manufacturer dont even think about making their own tires?
edit: oh yea and maybe batteries right?

Most sensible People on earth won't spend anything more than 100 000 to shift their own gears, except for so called purists who think they're real drivers but have NEVER been actual race car drivers, the closest they've ever gotten to racing is through illegal street racing

It's all great but so what, it's too expensive resulting in none of those cars ever will be used to even 50% of potential. They will just collect dust. Car companies need to bring back affordable driver cars not just extremely expensive ultra cars for 1% of 1%.

Just imagine a collab, between Horacio Pagani, Christian Von Koenigsegg, and Gordon Murray. You put these 3 geniuses in a table, and ask what would be their vision of the pinnacle of a thermic engine sport car, before the dyson vacuum invade our roads.

While I can appreciate its engineering, I would not pay 2 million for a car that looks like a lotus or Mazda miata. I understand he was going nostalgic and minimalist with this, but it's a hard no for me. It's a visually very boring car.

I love Gordon, he is the most down to earth supercar designer. He is like an everyday car guy building dream cars. Driving experience is the main focus. Who cares about 0-60 times. Make it simple, responsive, functional, and make it light.

5: 52 ok. Drag races are good. EV challenges are riveting. New model launches are interesting, but this was magnificent. Absolutely fascinating and intriguing love the GMA cars, love the man, and loved this video!
Thank you

Simplicity is not playing safe. The new Lotus Emira agrees with the principle behind this T33 Spyder. I drove that car months ago and it s the definition of a driver-focused car. I bet this T33 with a v12 is a Galaxy better.

Gordon Murray is a TRUE petrol head. When he combines that with utter engineering brilliance for his cars (stiffness, light weight, precision) you truly get the perfect driving machines. I would have nothing else, nothing.
