I have the 1. 0 litre eco boost st line. Its actually a decent car. For a Ford Focus. aa everyone keeps telling me when they get in it.
Annoying things
There's no way turn off Day Time Running Lights at all.
The plastic around the gear stick leather. Bubbles.
Sometimes the infotainment system doesn't always connect to Android Auto first time round. Or second. or third.
It's actually quite thirsty.
Headlights aren't Led which looks odd with the Running lights that are on too.
The sound system isnt great at all and there's no difference in sound from volume 21 to 30max.
The windows can be temperamental.
The screen is front flat facing meaning you have to lean over towards it in order to use it properly whilst driving as it is not aimed at the driver which becomes annoying.
Ford Service overall isnt the best
5 good things
Looks sporty from the side
Plenty of room
3 driving modes actually make a difference ( but only for acceleration)
Led Number plate lights and reverse lights
The screen is big enough.
Holds corner brilliantly.
Quick. No. .actually. Nippy for a 1. 0 litre.

Took one to edinburgh and back with a 1. 0 ecoboost teeny 125ps engine. Was ok up to the job just about. Handled well even for a narrow high sidewalled wheeled shopper. I had sold my runaround astra k 1. 4 turbo a few weeks prior and although that was faster in a straight line ford just know how to make one handle. I was sad to hand it back. Some awful trim on the doorcard but generally was ok. Oh and the phone car play in built map thing drove me insane i thought it was just me!

Best small car. But can you overlook Ford knew about dry clutch automatic problems for 7 years while deaths were taking place and covered it up. Engineers said they were too afraid for their jobs. Won't be buying a Ford anytime soon. Pieces of garbage. Toyota also covered up their lurging accelerator problems. Class action suits solve both of this but doesn't make one want to buy from either manufacturer.

Ford UK has no performance cars, what a shame. From the Company that gave us the Anglia, Prefect, Cortina lotus, Capri 3. 0 and 2 8injection, Sierra Cosworth, Escort RS Cosworth, Escort RS1600 BDA, Escort RS1800 BDW, Escort RS2000 Mk1 & 2, Focus RS, Granada MK1 3 9, Granada 2 8 injection and Ghia, Sierra 2. 8 4x4. Now NOTHING but pure nonsense. They don't deserve any customers

That last negative point about maps. just click the sound adjustment button to get back to the Ford Sync system without unplugging your phone. Once you're they're, click the Ford Nav button and you can use maps whilst Spotify etc still plays from Android Auto. It's not a slick way to do things, but I found this out on the road and it's 'a' way if you need it.

Question/help. Is it normal. a closing/opening door lock sound (tsok tsok -) under the hood? I heard it every time i get out of the car (engine cold) or just standing near the car, after several seconds mystery sound will occur several times. What is it? Is it a sensor that connects key fob and the car? Thanks

I know that they are good driving car's but the white paint doesn't at all show it's wings. Mine which I no longer drive had to be splashed with Magnetic Metallic Grey and with the top spec: ; Cough: ; remapped to the Max. . Lol
Was good fun, just don't rely on all the Electronics, EG-Hold! Let me down Once and never was gonna give it a 2nd time.

New and used cars are such a bad investment they depreciate so fast, there like a leaking bucket of money. No other high ticket item depreciates as much as a car. A Government review needs to be started to see why car depreciation is so very high. Why should the general public put up with this high depreciation Mat.

I have had every generation of focus and the seats felt the cheapest out of all of them and the plastics were rubbish, and the infotainment system was like a fisher price tablet, the one in the Golf I had as a hire car a few weeks before was head and shoulders above the offerings from Ford.
