This is the new BMW 7 Series! While it may be more a heavily modified version of the current model rather than an all-new car, there-s no denying the quality and luxury you-ll find once you step inside. But is this finally the chance for BMW to displace the S-Class and A8 as the most luxurious car on the road? Join Mat for his Top 10 overview to see what you think!

This is the worst ever made car with 75% hard plastic parts. ABS module, Parking brake actuator, Throttle body plastic gears. mass air flow sensor.
PDC unit. Dynamic stability control module, Antifreeze Reservoir, Power steering pump, Radiator hoses, Transmission oil pan, Mechatronics full unit Bridge. seals. lots of plastic parts this car brake a lot not reliable at all most towed car. Mine was (2008) BMW 750 li the car was more than three weeks at the dealership getting repaired. This is the car from hell. From 2012 i do not buy any 7 series anymore. lots of electronic issues useless sound system. crackling sound front and rear side logic7 overheating. PDC fault. BST sensor faulty. I keep the car for 8 months only, And got rid of the car. I am so happy and grateful now that i have Cadillac STS / SRX. have no problems at all. Thanks for posting the video.

Seeing her coming is exciting, despite her swollen nose. As she passes, I'm left confused. Is this the bastard love child from a pissed night with that VW skank? Why did they slap the flat ass of a VW on her? She's lost her posh departure angle. Sadly they've taken a few steps back with this refresh while adding more cash to her acquisition price. I will either hold out for the 2021 or accept MB's invitation to trade into an S550. At least MB has remained true to the brands DNA.
The bezels around all of the screens is unacceptable. They look like $50 generic tablets. With a 140 Grand tab, I want top of the line infotainment screens.

I consider myself as a Merc fan so I root for the S-class but s-class didn't look very different. So I was surprised when the Merc got a higher vote for looks. I do like that A8.
But in the inside, the mercedes is just sort of closer to a RR with the colour, the quality, the comfort, the design.
I just hope that Merc gets a mega update in tech like the Audi and tweak the design abit so we have a change.
P. S I prefer the BMW 5 series. Or even the M5. Just love it (even tho it's not 'luxury car'.

I just bought the 745 2020 which is basically this car but in a hybrid version. Never thought I would go hybrid, but this thing is both crazy lux and fun to drive and although its not full on EV, I can still get about 15-20 miles/day free driving with electrical charging. Don-t have to get anxiety around where-s the next charging station because I will always have a tank of gas while getting about 57 MPG with the hybrid version.
Great car all around!

Interesting, S-Class is the oldest of the bunch and still wins the vote. Audi is handsome but looks more like an A6+. Doesnt appear to have the same size and presence as the S. The bmw looks like that grill was photoshopped on as a joke. Glad Lexus have stopped copying the germans and have stuck to their crazy design language: striking but probably won't age well with that grill. .kinda looks like it was in a car accident actually

I love it how most of the people here can't afford to get any of these cars, yet they have REALLY strong opinions about them. Mercedes is perfect for taxis in developing countries. For some reason they really love their Mercedes. BMW, on the other hand, is way more popular in developed countries where people actually have money and taste and they don't want an idiot driving them around town.

Contrary to other comments, BMW is perhaps the only manufacturer that could take a risk like that with it's signature grille and come out looking good!
IMHO the whole exterior design should have been saved for the completely new car instead of mid cycle refresh. Looks way too good for a face lift! Interior feels outdated and they really need to go funkier than usual for the next one!

I think this is actually a great looking car. I even like the grill. There I said it.
But honestly this is the best looking 7 I have seen in a long time. Yeah I know the E38 is a beauty but considering what the new 7 can do, how much more space you have inside etc it is a remarkable achievement.

Grill too big, like the hideous front end of the Lexus (what happened to them. Only the A8 looks really good. All that aside, what really counts is RELIABILITY. So, there's only one choice, assuming a car shopper is foolish enough to make the huge financial mistake of buying any new car.

You guys don-t get it. it was marketing genius to put that large boss-like grill on the front of the 2020-s to make all prior models look completely outdated, so basically if you own anything 2019 or older, you will feel forced to upgrade to 2020 BMW.
