This is the new Citroen C5 Aircross! Even though the exterior styling may help it stand out, there-s no denying it-s just yet another entry into the crowded SUV market. It comes in relatively cheap, but barring the exterior, how does the C5 Aircross stack up against the competition? Join Mat for his latest in-depth review to find out!

First of all, sorry to tell you like this but - you are not funny. Stop whatever you are trying to do and just tell the story about the car. Secondly, you sound as if you had never driven a Citroen before so you are constantly surprised by its driving characteristics! Have you been living in a flowerpot for last. ever? Proper Citroen is always floating over the road, it is sinking on braking and tends to body roll in corners. Thanks to -journalist- like yourself, we, the normal drivers, curse today's modern cars for they are way too uncomfortable and way too harsh over every bump on the road (That Skoda you are yapping about is hell for bad back. Well, most of them at least. Instead of floating on 21st century technology and comfortable suspension people like you wants to have -sporty- or -sportier- ride, more direct steering response, sharp cornering. - it is a family car for Pete's sake; regardless if it is a SUV, or saloon, compact. whatever it is, the emphasis is on -family- by default unless upgraded and paid otherwise.
It is supposed to be comfortable ride, you hippo. Are you driving WRC championship or driving kids to school?
Who ever is having wet dreams about fast corners for sure is not putting his money down for Renault Espace or. Aircross C5. So take the car for what it is and stop complaining for whatever isn't.

I have owned the car for a couple of months now and I should say there are some very annoying things about it.
First is that the seats are pretty uncomfortable and if you are going for a long drive it really makes the trip unpleasant.
Also the -leather- they are made of is nothing near leather but some rubbery fabric.
Rear doors open very strange and the access to the back seats is limited which makes getting in and out of the car a challenge.
I am a tall person and leg room in the back is. there is no such. I have to sit facing to the sides. Also if I sit on each of the sides at the back my head has to be bent so that I don't hit my head on every bump on the road. Back seats headrests are just terrible. They are way too forward and the position of your head is not normal and your neck starts to hurt.
Overall it is a decent car but not to be a passenger in it.
Luckily I got rid off mine.

7: 31 it's a shame that car makers nowadays don't foresee such interior spec for big families! I am a father of three young girls and I find so hard to chose a car that it is top spec comfortable, with enough space in the rear row seats and doesn't cost a fortune!
In this aspect, I must congratulate Citroen for this achievement! The only (medium size) SUV in the market currently with proper three back seats!
The other valid alternative, fiting my taste, would be a Renault Espace but unfortunately it reach the end of it's life.

I hired this vehicle and it-s fine EXCEPT for the lane assist feature which did my head in. It makes the car wander in its lane making it tiring to steer, and constantly chimes and warns you to hold the steering wheel even though I had a death grip on it already. When I found the kill switch for the damn system it transformed the steering into a much more direct and predictable experience. Citroen, your lane keep assist is half baked. Put it back in the oven please.

Thanks for your review, but wondering which SUV in this range of price is better regards rear seat car sickness?
I have Vauxhall Astra Estate, once I sat on rear seat and got sick in about 30min journey thought about poor kids at the back now!
Considering having SUV next but not sure about this matter, can you assist me with this please? Thanks

Hi Matt, watching from Turkey. I want to ask you about an ongoing problem about this car-s black roof paint. I have been seeing more people complaining about the black paint is coming off after a year. Have anyone or you guys at the carwow heard anything about this problem and if you did what is the company-s action on this matter going to be? Thanks

I've driven the plugin hybrid version on Mallorca as a rental. Unfortunately that is complete useless, as you need a car pass to charge the car on public places (which you can't get as toerist. Charging the car is only at 15 Amps single phase, so it takes 9 hours to fillup. In the end only the gasoline was used. what a waste.

I got to part of the Sport button and I'm thinking -Why am I going to pay extra for the Sport button when I could just get my kids/nephews/nieces to make that noise for free! - - Yeh sab India mein nahi chalega Frenchie. -
