I'm sorry for Merc because they prefer to make money rather than making beautiful and reliable cars.
Just look at new CLS Class; you can't notice the difference between the front of CLS and fron of A Class.
And in general new Merc cars are getting similar to chinese cars which have so many plastics and fancy shapes whilst Koreans are resembling the glorious days of the Germans.
At some point BMW and Merc managers and executives decided to eaen money from their customers by selling garbage to them, Front Wheel Drive BMW series 1, which has been built on Mini platform, is a great example! And CLS with A Class front design is an absolute insult: not because A Class is a bad car, because they didn't want to spend money on R&D and Designing divisions to build a different car, just ctrl c/ctrl v

Yea no sorry, this is not what i expected. Yet ANOTHER un-inspiring design from mercedes. -Old- one looks a 1000 times better, this just seems like it was made in pure desperation of updating the line up a bit. IDK why mercedes keeps making their cars look more and more like eachother. I wouldnt be surprised if in 3 years we-d mix up a S class and a A class. Go no clue why the votes are so heavily favored to this car (or well, might be because it says E class in the title, and those who dont care about it doesnt click it, which means the votes are pretty much useless, no info can be taken from it, BMW 5 series and the Audi A6 beats this by a long shot.

In my opinion, Mercedes is the best car manufacturer in the world. Mercedes engines are hand built ( by Mercedes.
Their engines use Expensive metals and Carbon fiber cover with the signature of who built the Engine ( AMG Only) were BMW uses nothing but Plastic parts all over the car. The only metal is the Exhaust, pistons, crank and cam shaft and the rest is plastic. ( Endless repair nightmares and BMW Have Timing Belts but Mercedes has Timing chains made of titanium or Stainless Steel.
Mercedes-Benz winner. ( only manufacturer with 9 speed Automatic Transmission.

the new E class is literally the S class 2018 my dad drives but uglier. The brand is losing its essence, clearly Mercedes is tired of its same lines and opted to modify the essence of the brand, completely ruining the concept of the German luxury car, while BMW clings on making bigger and bigger grills, refusing to stop. on the one hand its origin howling the brand's faithful for fear of being ridiculous. I would definitely buy an Audi A8 or a GENESIS G80

Mercedes E class looks really good. I always prefer the look of Mercedes over the other luxury brands. I have a 2014 CLA class I bought when I was 20 years old. I-m definitely thinking about upgrading to an E class soon since I-ve had a really good job for the past 5 years. Now I feel like I can afford an $80, 000 car without any issue

People in the comments are critisizing the looks because it is apparently too close to the A class. I personally think MB A class sedan is a great looking car - far better looking than small Audis or BMWs for example. I guess people want lower segment cars to be designed ugly on purpose so that upper segment cars look better in comparison.

Matt, you said at around 3 minutes 30 seconds of this video that there will be a more powerful 3. 0 litre straight six diesel putting out 387 bhp, I have searched on mercs car Configurator, and the only option is the 340bhp engine? Was you incorrect with the other information that you said or is this engine going to appear?

I can't understand this infotainment system of the modern cars. What's the whole point in always glancing into that 10 inch screen. Yes, i can understand the mapping system that it's useful but for the rest it is only a gimmick for me, it has no significance on the joys of driving.

Definitely I will not consider Mercedes Benz as an option for my next car, I think the brand totally lost its essence, I would have decided before a genesis G80 excellent car, price relation definitely the best in the market together with BMW. Hello form Mexico.

Many people complain about the rear, but they keep forgetting that W110, W111, W112, W113, W100, W108, W114, W115, W116, R/C 107, W123, W126, W201 and R129 ALSO had HORIZONTAL rear lights and no one complained. The front is unimpressive, I agree about that.
