Well Mat, since you admitted to being anal about things, let me be anal too:
A coefficient is, by definition, a number used to multiply a variable by. It doesn't have a unit. There is no unit of 'cd'. Well there is, but it's candela, which is for luminous intensity that has nothing to do with drag. Let's not start a trend of reporting the coefficients of drag as 0. 29cd like you did. It's just 0. 29.
The coefficient (c) of drag (subscript d) is just a number between 0 and 1, a dimensionless quantity used to quantify (in this case) how much resistance the object has moving through the air. Numbers closer to zero apply to things like arrows and fighter jets. Numbers closer to 1 apply to your mom.

I took my 2018 A3 in for a service and had one of these as a loan car - so disappointed. It handles better for sure, but that's about the only thing I preferred. The ride is worse, heaps of road noise, and creaky plastics all over the place - including the one that spans the whole dash - in addition to the air vents that cannot be adjusted to blow at a lower speed. And don't get me started on the radio volume control - just awful design. The model I had didn't have the lighting upgrade, and the rear lights looked terrible, you could see white light through the gaps at different angles. Such a shame, overall it feels like a real downgrade.

A few comments if Audi is listening. Great tail lights, but what happened to the headlights? I feel they are far too edgy and a step back from the prior design year. And please don't follow in the footsteps of the Toyota Supra and add fake vents in the bumbers. This automotive trend needs to stop. Interior looks great, but please also stop with the glossy black plastics. My 2016 VW Golf R has this and it's a scratch / fingerprint magnet. Otherwise nice looking Audi.

The real USP of Audi always used to be their interiors but I think the current range feels very average and I think the move to touch screens a huge backwards step done solely to reduce production costs. I am looking to replace my A6 coming to the end of a PCP and thought downsizing to a good spec A3 would be attractive but I am really not impressed.

USB-C is inconvenient. Power OUTLETS have been standardised on full size USB forever. Who's unhappy with that?
Pretty much everyone is going to have to buy new leads.
Power INLETS are full size or C or mini or micro.
In my case I'd need to buy USB-C to Micro.
Odd decision Audi (and Skoda and VW.

What do you think about new generation Mazda 3? I believe we can put that in comparison more than VW Golf. Golf simply sucks in interior and exterior. I would personally go for Mazda 3 other than Audi A3, which both are M-Hybrid cars and Mazda is cheaper with same interior quality.

They've copied the good bits from the S3 except for the interior which looks horrible by comparison. I loath alcantara and the old supersports seats were great in red stitched quilted nappa leather apart from mediocre lateral support.
Easily the best looking of the 4 cars.

I'm no Audi fan, at all. But this A3 looks sweet and I am a sucker for premium. Better than the Golf? We will see tomorrow when I test drive both.
-Mat: thanks mate. Ever since I first saw your Stick of Truth I can't look at exhaust fakery the same way again, ever.

They should bring back the old high powered diesel and gasoline engines, like the old 184 bhp 2. 0 TDI engine and also quattro, with both manual and automatic transmission. They should let the customer choose wether they want to use a gear stick or not.
