Ok. I'm Italian. I am snob (but very poor. So I will avoid being polite and say to those enlightened designers there in Fiat (or Chrysler): -Do you have eyes! -
There's nothing left about the real 500 concept. The changes they made are accurately put there to actually DECREASE the already poor personality it had before. Look at the interiors too! The infotainment detached like a piece of bread out of the toaster! I didn't like it on Ford cars as well as on all the other brands. And I really don't expect anything by Fiat, but at least don't talk of design, please! Let's not even talk about those ridiculous Bulgari and Armani stuff. A paint that gets no dust? Interiors that look like a bad hip-hop music video?
Well. You get the point. I could go on and on all night long.
Just because design -might- be subjective, it doesn't mean Fiat can sell garbage pretending it's art! It doesn't work like that, sorry!
I really don't think any Italian could ever spend all that money into a Fiat (whatever model) and I believe like 99% of people from Italy would just laugh at this and go buy a 10k 208 or 5k Panda. (Yes, 700000 people saying the opposite may be even too much)
My God. That was painful to watch.

I don't like the headlights. Way too complicated. The old headlights are simpler and better. I hope Fiat isn't going down the same path that Mini did. The new Mini is now a whale of its former self and a design disaster. I agree that the interior is a big improvement over the old one. No, it is not a convertible. It's a ragtop. But, oh my, the Fiat logos on the top are hideous. Petrol based 500's are a bit buzzy on the road so I like the idea of an electric option but it's the same price as a Tesla Model Y which has nearly double the range and a much more extensive charging network.

Hi. At 4'05'': I have news for you: also the UK -works in km-, and from 1965; it just happens that the many British are too much ignorant and still use miles, Yards, feet, inches, fingernails and pube's hair rather than the meter, only the meter, just the meter. The only -developed- country in the world still using a system derived from the Imperial System are the USA, even though NASA officially adopted the metric system. Australians, New Zealander and Canadians all use the meter.

Great vlog! Thank you. Here is what I do not understand. I have driven Fiat all my life. You think of the small Fiat cars as cheap. In Norway the Fiat is not the cheapest cars. In the 60s you had the orginal 500. The Renault 4L and the Citroen was cheaper. The same in the 70s with the 127 and the R4 and R5. The 80s with the Uno and competititon. Well, you get the picture. It is the same today. The Zoe cost less than the 500. Why? Is it design? The unions? Or politics?

We've had La Prima for about 6 weeks now, but. Been back at dealer for 2 periods of 4 days. AC compressor faulty, this has now gone wrong again, sounds like a small tractor. The brakes squeek each time you come to a stop. We've had warning lights about low tyre pressures, audio failure warning. Radio won't turn off, pedestrian warning sound is barely audible. LCD display has a delay that is annoying about 3 seconds. We should not have purchased this vehicle.

29k hahahahaha what is going on? This is a 12-15k car. They have removed ALL of the complex stuff and the items that require Manhours to make so they have dropped in a battery pack and a motor, they does this cost 18k (if you factor in that they don-t need to make the engine and the gearbox? What a rip off

Car companies are taking buyers for a ride. This no way cost anywhere near the RPP to build, then the car companies complain that they not selling as many as they should be. how about stop being so GREEDY with profit margins.

Too expensive, the Seat Mii, Skoda Citygo ans VW Up electrics are enough and MUCH cheaper, some companies are trying to cheat us, so we think that electric cars are more expensive to produce, no way! Wake up and fight back.

Well I like fiat-s alot. We own one of the cool fiats that was made in 1990, the fiat uno. But 29. 000 pounds is a little expensive for the 500. I could add up a little more money and buy the peugeot 508 gt instead.
