On the lookout for your next car? Head to to find the right car from the right dealer, at the right price. . This is the new BMW 1 Series! Now we know that most of you BMW fan boys will already be reaching for that down vote button given it-s front-wheel drive, but wait! Have you taken the time to really study BMW-s latest small hatchback to see exactly where it-s evolved compared to the old model? We know a lot of you will miss the RWD, but given there-s so much competition in this market from the likes of the new A-Class, A3 and Golf, is the introduction of front-wheel drive really enough to turn you away from BMW?

The idea that all BMW's had to be RWD is from a time when consumers were NOT 30 year old idiot children who can be advertised any old rubbish and still get them to buy it for exorbitant prices over and above other just as good just as front wheel drive competition. This is not a shocker, 20 years ago there was always an option for a cheap 6 cylinder powered car. If you want to drive a front wheel drive 4 cylinder powered car then just get a Golf or Polo. you just ruined it for people with taste and a taste for actual BMWs (which should always have a cheap 6 cylinder RWD option in EVERY lineup) You are lucky if they let you change your own gears today, -Playstation Gearbox- should be left in the f-'#king Playstation games. BMWs today drive like feel no different to Fords. only the price is higher.

Recently I have discovered a -cosmetic- issue I assume was caused during the dashboard installation process which unfortunately is directly in my eye line and continues to draw my attention. The surrounding of the temperature control panel is not installed correctly causing an uneven gap around it. In fact there is a gap on the bottom left of the facia reducing to no gap on the right side. Visually this not aesthetically pleasing and as stated earlier I believe it to be quality issue not identified during manufacturing steps and gaps quality checks. I have checked other vehicles in my local BMW dealership and it seems this issue is not a general problem but only related to my car. Not very good for my OCD.

The entities look the Aldi-s and the Mercedes exhaust pipes they look real but no they lead to nowhere in fact the actual tail pipes come out to the car from underneath it-s just pointless really why don-t they have the tail pipes come out from the surrounds and have some really exotic this nonsense in fact you can get those two calls with petrol versions and then they still have fake exhaust pipes just pointless patrols are supposed to have real exhaust pipes is this a diesel if it would be fine

I remember when jaguar started making diesels. It just felt wrong. But I never thought BMW would go front drive. The sad truth is though that most of the people that will buy this are buying it because they think the badge still impresses. The fact that if you took the badges off and hid that horrendous grille nobody would even know what it is doesn't bother them. There once was a time when you couldn't mistake a BM for anything else. Sad.
Ps, not a BMW hater, I own a z4!

Mine is on order, but late and dates pushed back frustratingly! I went for white with cream interior.
I am irked though that electric seat adjustment doesn't come as standard? I had to buy care package to get it! I've had an Xtrail for 3 years which has most of the bells & whistles as standard and my new BMW doesn't have a reversing camera and I'm a TERRIBLE Parker!

Ugh. Barely a BMW in appearance. If the kidney grille was just one grille, you'd never be able to tell. You might say that the kidney grille is THE signature look but there's a lot more to the design. The Hoffmeister C pillar is barely there. A Benz without the logo is still easily identifiable.

I've seen many on the road all of a sudden. To me it just doesn't look like a BMW, it makes me think of a Mercedes Class A, but with hard lines. Seems an imitation, rather than it's own thing.
I'm curious to see/know if they are doing/will do a sedane version

It looks soooo generic and middle of the road, I wouldn't even bother going to look at it at the dealer. Bmw gradually sold it's soul over the past decade by ditching the smaller straight sixes and switching to FWD, three cylinder engines and DC automatics. -

Just the same way I saw testimony of how Austin helped a man make -$50, 000 weekly Profit I tried now am also sharing my testimony with over, $10, 000 from the company thanks for the good did he has done for me for this short period of time.

The one thing that still made BMW stand out against the rest has now been killed off. It's just like any other hatch with some different materials maybe; but no unique identity anymore. Also styling in this gen has really gone south, yuck
