I dunno if it's just me but. A car sounds a LOOOOOT better when it's GOING and up/down shifting than just revved up while standing still. For some cars, it just doesn't do them justice. The sound -slowly progressing to the higher RPMs just has that -gasm- on me for some reason.

Mustang GT350 sounds better than the dodge, so does the V8 Vantage, so does the C7 ZR1, so does mostly every AMG black car. then the Valkrie probably sounds the best as well for a v12 and the Gordon Murray T. 50. And these are all in the past 3 years

Would have been nice to see the AMG Hot-Vee engine in the V8 section but I wasn't surprised its missing since the -new car- versions sound a bit crap. Could have done what you did with the RS6 though. Pre-facelift and post-facelift on an E63S.

best sounding V8 - haha, I have currently my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ with 4. 7 n/a V8 with muffler deleted and it eats all of those cars on sound while having just 220HP: D it'd be even better if I removed the cat

Well he got that wrong straight off the rip lol. The best sounding 4 cylinder engine on planet earth is the STI. The unequal length header subie boxer rumble is the king of 4 cyl noises. Nothing is close.

The Ferrari 812 Superfast V12 is the best for me, better than the Lamborghini Aventador (which is very good also, more brutal but not as exquisite as the Ferrari. 2nd place goes to the Dodge Demon V8.

I agree with everything except for the 4 cylinder. I believe the BMW B48 (especially in the 2020+ M235i) sounds better.
Also, the 3-cylinder Mini Cooper doesn't sound too bad.

The best v8 sounding engine Audi make in my opinion is in the B8. 5 Audi RS5 they sound epic from factory especially with the sports exhaust and even better with an X pipe

Mat, the best sounding v12 is the Lamborghini, the best sounding v10 is the Lexus LFA, the best sounding v8 is the Mercedes-AMG-. not Audi-and the best sounding 6cyl is BMW-: )

Engines don't sound their best when they are just revved at a stand still with no load. You should've played the sound of it accelerating past the camera or similar.
