As there are loads of 308 GTEs knocking about and they were never exactly a great car by Ferrari standards, why not convert it. and as it will change it from a summer only weekend car, into a daily driver, seems perfect to me. There is an interview with the owner on Fully Charged who explains the history

The point of the Ferrari is it's engin so as long as the original one seen is honorable death i'm fine driving an electric Ferrari but for how long? Electric cars can look so boring!

Only in the UK you are allowed to bolt and stich any kind of parts together and still have a streat legal car. The amount of crazy custom cars from the UK ist staggering.

I'm guessing the original engine blew, so they had to swap it out and then decided electrified it eh?

Much as a like fast cars, and to see them Drag tested, most of them are only good for that, a long straight runway, foot to the Boards and that-s it. -
