I have had the pleasure of owning 3 Discoveries over a period of 12 years - as a German I must confess that they were the first non-german cars I had ever owned and by far the best and most enjoyable cars I have ever driven. Unfortunately the -revolution- from Disco 4 to 5-series was a bit too much for me and that also counts for the changes from the old to the current Defender. Not my cup of tea!
I really like how Landrover has carefully evolved the Range Rover with respect to the latest model rather that just changing everything in order to create something -revolutionary-.
Especially the interior of the car remains very elegant and classy. German premium brands have in many cases chosen to change the interior to a much more technocratic and playful design that, in my opinion, does not meet the taste of many of the customers in the targeted group.
All in all a very desirable car - sad though, that the UK did not remain part of the EU - that would have helped a little with the price -

A very nice luxury car, but as for a 4x4, it would not last 10 metres off road in Australia, we recommend to include your own tow rope so its faster to rip you out of the first bog hole. It would bog on the first beach, can't use it for fishing lol, and camping lol NOT. A great car for wandering around the UK on all your pathways with an occasional bump. Love to see it against an LC300 lol. Off road toy!

Looks nice but so many electronics that can and will break. It will be a nightmare to maintain this car in the long run. But of course, people who can afford it won't be driving for 15 years.

Going to be interesting to see how it ages. the old l322 with the screens in the back look pretty old fashioned now. although, if you can afford a new one. you don't care about aging -

It feels very awkward that they've just released this whole new model but haven't got a full electric version yet and there's still no mention of things like level 3 autonomous driving.

This is a great video BUT! BUT BUt But but. The presenters clothes do not match a luxury vehicle. So his opinions declines massively. Jeans and cheap trainers? Seriously?
