This is the all-new Mercedes EQXX, and it-s one of the most extreme electric cars ever made! So what-s so special about this car? Well for starters, this four-door coupe looks totally different to any Mercedes ever made before. For starters, it-s both shorter and lower than a C-Class! It-s also a truly long tail car (just check out that rear-end, and it even comes with an adjustable rear diffuser. However, while it certainly looks like it-ll be rapid, don-t go expecting it to break any EV performance records anytime soon. Mercedes has focused on efficiency rather than power, so the EQXX comes with a motor that-ll produce just 204hp! However, the focus on efficiency means the EQXX will have a range of over 620 miles - 215 miles more than a Tesla Model S. That-s not the only ground-breaking feature for the EQXX, though. Once you step inside, you-ll find a fully vegan interior along with an 8k full-width infotainment screen - the biggest screen to feature in any Mercedes to date! So what do you think - is the EQXX the best EV you-ve ever laid your eyes on?

there are so many crazy prototypes but nothing concrete and the prices are more then a private airplane
Like Cybertruck a sold lie bite by the fans lets say
Think
If you buy a electric car in 7 years you have to replace the battery and how much it will cost
more then the value of the care after 7 years
is it worth the +70 K?
So in conclusion
No Mather how beautiful the design is or tech has there's 1 commonly problem
THE BATTERY + the congested roads or lets say infrastructure does not fit the narrative

I really like that big name like Mercedes may be aiming for economy, eco-friendly, sleek and lighter cars than overpowered bulky power-hungry machines. Also they took all that luxury stuff that is not needed (like from leather and other bad materials) and replaced them with recycled and plant-based materials. If this is the new path Mercedes wants to take, maybe other manufacturers will follow

It can do this, that and the other! Well, whoopity-do, it doesn't matter if it could fly to the moon on a single fart because no one could ever buy one!
When they release a car that can do all of this and sells for a reasonable price, come back and tell us. Otherwise stop dribbling over vapourware, it makes you look like an 8 year old about to wet himself.

I love the thumbnail text, -Mercedes has changed everything-, that is for people who can afford half a million dollars for a car. So no I would-t buy one. I agree with comments below -Mercedes knock it out of the park with this one-, yep knocked all the way to the manicured lawns of the nearest mansion.

The rear has nice tail lights but I think it extends just a bit too much which makes the car look disproportionate. However besides the design it is amazing to see Mercedes pushing the range limit for EV cars.

One of the only reliable EVs out there. But still petrol beats electric in my opinoin. Petrol still has longer range and the lithium in the lithium ion batteries are hard to mine ond very labor intensive too

B-E-A_utiful car! Wish I could buy it today. Not years from now, if ever.
Key word: -Tease-. I'm not going to wait years for this car to find out it ends up being nothing like the car they teased today.

I wonder how many people are gonna start killing themselves charging their cars or doing dumb things with the batteries etc.
Let's face it. Some parts of humanity will always find a way.

-Isn't going into production-. Thats a right shame. It would probably be too expensive even for Merc. More like a hypercar that doesn't perform. But it's a very good looking machine.

I dont care about my petrol car because it only takes 5 mins to fill. But I am happy that we are finally breaking the 600 mile range, makes an ev look alot more attractive now
