The Tucson has more tech as standard than it s sister car the Sportage but, it just doesn t look as special inside anymore.
The qashqai engine does send electricity directly to the motors so in effect the engine does actually power the wheels and it s mpg isn t that impressive compared to the KIA.
The Honda s CVT is just a horrendous noise to drive in and puts you off having any fun in it, surely it would have been a more sensible setup for electric motors to power the rear wheels.

This video doesn't make any sense. Why have they decided to use the HR-V instead of the CR-V? Of course the HR-V is going to be less spacious because it's smaller than the other cars. And you must've chosen the plug in hybrid version of the Tucson on purpose so you could criticise the way it drives next to the Sportage in regular hybrid form, because plug in hybrids are heavier than hybrids with a more firmer ride and not so good driving dynamics. And it's also worth noting that what Mat thinks about the design of the Tucson is just his own OPINION and that it looks much more interesting than the other cars from the outside. Disliked.

That Honda is Terrible imo it looks the worse in white looks like a budget kitchen appliance most of the colour choices for it are horrid the interior is not that nice small touch screen you get in something like a jazz/fit and pathetic power output too. Why does matt hate the Tucson looks at least Hyundai Tried to think out the box and tbf think it looks good Honda has no thought at all. Plus you see quite a few Tuscon's and very few HRVs as the design clearly shows and as Reliability if Honda were Confident why does it only have 3 years/90, 000 Miles where Hyundai offers 5 years/Unlimited Mileage and even Kia has 7 years/100, 000 Miles.

Eventually, families on low incomes won t be able to drive. The cars will be to expensive to buy, like the second hand market is. Electric charging on pre paid meters isn t good as they don t get cheaper tariffs at night and they pay 20% to 40% more than someone on quarterly bills. We re being conned, conditioned in thinking it s good and you all comply, say no and bring the prices down

I have no idea why Matt hates Tuson's design, I think it looks quite good actually, I would even say it might be the best looking out of those 4. Kia looks little bit overstyled, Nissan maybe little bit too much in your face from front, Honda looks alright but maybe little bit boring.

We was looking at all of these and other than the infotainment the hyudai felt like it was built alot better than the rest (we didn't look at the honda) it also felt more plush than a tiguan. The Kia felt more plasticky and cheaper inside and the nissan felt a bit last gen inside

Why don't you compare the CR-V here? The HR-V is smaller therefore not as practical as the others.
And I'd like to see the Ssangyong Korando here in this test with it's Korean competitors. I think it's a decent and underrated car.

SUV - sports utility vehicle! But where is the Sport bit? They just look like big square fridges. If you took the badges off each one, you wouldn t know what is what. Where has all the style and individual identity gone? So, boring.

The Tuscon in India is much more premuim compared to which u have shown, Got the beige leather interiors, extra features like the boss mode, panaromic sunroof, rear ac vents, different alloy design, and even a 4x4

I think the Hyandai Tucson is by far the best looking of these cars. Beauty as they say is in the eye of the beholder. And that is why I bought a Tucson Hybrid and I'm absolutely in love with it.

Tucson Ultimate HEV gives 50+ mpg and is very comfortable and doesn't have any rattles. Only complaint is skinnier tyres due to size of electric motor and battery but the ride is decent.

The HRV doesn t have a gearbox. The engine either functions purely as a generator for the electric motor or at higher speeds it s directly connected to the wheels with a fixed gear ratio.
