ChrisFix. My name is Zo. I have a 99 Ford Ranger XLT 3. 0L, and am have trouble with my heat working. It had been working but I decided to put a new thermostat in and it only made it run cooler than what it had been. I've done a lot of the things you suggested but still don't have proper heat. One thing I did notice though is that my heat control valve is stuck open. I don't know if it has been like for a while or not, but my heat was working 3 weeks ago; not that great but worming to a comfortable level. now nothing. Could that valve being stuck open be the problem, because at this moment I'm about to try changing out my coolant temp sensor. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

I have a 98 f150 5. 4 v8. I just had to change out the coolant reservoir and the thermostat, due to no heat. Have heat but Now it's spuddering when I go to accelerate. I'm going to guess I have an air bubble? I turned the heat on max and vent on low to try and push it out like I was told but it still spudders when I get over 2300rpm. I have no clue what is happening. Any ideas?

Chris I am stumped on my 2011 335 no heat at al. I felt the hoses to the heater core one felt warm the other felt much warmer- there was definitely different- not same temp- there I no heater control valve. Thinking might be heater blend door actuator? But cant seem to find its location

The coolant is important. I have a 2013 F-150 Lariat with the ecoboost engine. I don't know why, but I have to add 1 gal of antifreeze every fall for my heat to work. There are no leaks anywhere, not a blown head gasket either. It just dissipates somehow?

Hi ChrisFix, When you turn your heater control knob to full heat, is the outside air door fully or partially open? this Truck does not have the button to push for recirculating air. Thanks for a reply back. I appreciate it.

This is Gold right now. Even though you tried to keep the video as short as possible, it is really well explained. I learned a few things, and I feel more confident about fixing my trucks heating issue now.
