Why Everyone is Wrong about the Catfish Camaro The: 2: 02 it's a Camaro. They're not attractive cars. And slow and have terrible grip. Last time I checked the Mustang is an unattractive car yeah this gen doesn't look the greatest but the newer gens have looked better through its life. Also I mean neither of them are really fast, they're quick. Now to the last point I will make, he said the Camaros have terrible grip? I'm sorry the last time I checked the Camaro doesn't slam into crowds of people/kill pedestrians and isn't the most dangerous car you can buy, that's the Mustang. Let's talk about grip. I'd really like to smack that dumbass, facts dude.

I have a 2000 Z28 6 speed with SS wheels, and it's by far my favorite car I've ever owned. I've had it for about 2 1/2 years now, and I still love it. I got mine from the 2nd owner (owned it since 13, 000 miles, and he was meticulous with maintenance. It's got a cowel hood, and since I've owned it, I put an SLP air lid, an axle back exhaust, and a tune. Otherwise it's stock. Some people hate on it, but I get compliments and thumbs up on the road fairly often. For the sound system, I use my phone and a 12 set of ear buds I got from Amazon. Great video #catfishnation

It made me so happy to watch this video. I grew up lower class and at the age of 10 my dad bought one of these brand new black on black SS Camaro and cherished it. To this day it only has 19, 000 miles on it. Sits in the garage gets driven and serviced couple times a year and that's it. I grew up in that car so excited on Friday when I would get picked up in it. I didn't have a whole lot to look forward to but I looked forward to just sitting shotgun in that car

of the garbage that has always been Chevy and their Camaro line this was the worst one. If you buy one of these you are literally throwing your money into a car that will disintegrate from the frame out. They are ugly, slow, and if you want it to go fast you have to make the car safe first by that i don't mean cage for 10 secs passes i mean you have to stiffen the whole car or it will bend the frame with even 400TQ. it's just a horrible platform.

I was 8 when the face lifted catfish and Trans Am's came out. I thought there was no comparison with how good they looked compared to the sn95. Never liked the 94-98 Mustang looks. My buddy's dad had a gold SS 6spd with black stripes. Thought it was the baddest ass car as a kid. A full bolt on 98 Cobra couldn't touch a stock SS. Even turbo or SC stock 2v or pre 03 4v mustangs couldn't touch a cam, intake, headers and tuned LS1. The good old days.

Doesn't even look like a fish, I've never understood that. This was my first car, as a dumbass kid who didn't know shit (but wanted to learn) nor care much, even I thought it looked nice. He IS however most definitely right, it has its flaws, I won't lie. But there's a lot of sensitive feelings I might hurt when I say I'd rather own and drive around in my 4th gen Camaro than a MKIV Supra, and idgaf.

I'd like to know where you can find me one for under 5 grand? Everything here is a raped out track car that's been rode hard and put up wet. Find a decent one, Z28, SS, or the WS6 and they're north of 10k. Having said that, I don't understand all the hate these get. I've always like them. Still see a lot on the road and at the track laying the smack down.

My first experience of a fast car was riding in my buddy's dad's drop-top f-body SS: . Next time I saw him it was supercharged and hot damn did that thing move. I still want to race it when I finish my big turbo eclipse F-body is without a doubt the best camaro, ya'll are wildin if you think otherwise (the new Zl1 is okay too, I GUESS.

Omg not even lying. And wasn't even gonna comment anything till I saw the CD case. I had this same car ( heavily modded mine by the end of its life, and if it didn't get stolen and wrecked in a police chase I'd probably still have it. But had same car and same CD case. Even had same 50 cent cd. I didn't know about the drag efficiency.

Had the exact car last year in a midnight blue. True SS. LOVED that car. Ive also owned a couple true SS LT1 cars, a 05 Mustang GT and an E46 M3. The LS1 SS was the most fun to drive, the power delivery was the most satisfying Haters gonna hate but man I loved that thing
