the marauder died, because, like me, most buyers were concerned with how long a run it would have. I was concerned it would have problems the first year, like most cars, then be gone in a year or two instead of fixed. that's it. GREAT looking car with pretty good performance. Obviously dipsnits like you akkhats, who want a 95 civ with 20 wheels and an exhaust that sounds like you eat every meal at taco hell then get on a centrifuge for an hour, weren't going to buy it. But there was a market, and as typical, big biz killed it.

This car is popular in Saudi Arabia even after the price of gasoline has increased. And it got a lot of titles here, and most of it means it's a tough car. I have one that's cut more than 700, 000 kilometers and it's still my main car. There are not many cars approaching this figure in Saudi Arabia without the rebuilding of its engine or gearbox, with the exception of The Croatian Victoria. But now that it's stopped, there are no more good American cars for our hot weather, except for Yuken and Tahu.

Yeah it's popular here in Saudi Arabia i saw a marauder a week ago. At some point grand marquis was the best selling car. I think around 2007 it's because people here like the durability of an American V8 and the large interior. But these days it's almost a meme everyone just abandoned it and abuse the hell out them on the roads. With the new Gen V8 sports cars like chevy caprice and dodge charger the long life of the crown vics is finally over.

Hey Ford, make a two seater, rear wheel drive 4 cylinder that weighs less than 2, 600 lbs. Oh wait, you don't know how to make that. How about a hatchback with a turbo 4? Wait, you won't sell those in America anymore (thanks Agent Orange. So we get Mustang. Great.

I bought my first crown victoria because of this video and ive still got it today i put over 40000 miles in one year going from michigan and az constantly and ive only had to replace a few pulleys and the rear end.

Don't forget to mention their reliability. I used to have 1999 grand marquis after my father and now it's with my brother. It survived our harsh treatment even with crushing it twice. I really admire this car.

Would have loved them if they weren't all automatics. We all hate automatic transmissions. A manual swapped would be Baller though for me that isn't possible cuz of lack of money and knowledge.

The Marauder was made as a pre made Hot rod. Detroit in the late 90s. everyone is driving a Crown Vic with a performance engine and beefed up rear end. Ford thinks, What if we just made that?

The heavy duty sedan. If Ford ever reintroduced the Crown Victoria it needs to just be just called the Sedan Superduty and marketed alongside with the f250 and larger trucks for fleet sales.
