So, if I use Porsche logic, if a car is fast, it deserves to have a component that it has no relationship to, advertised in its title. By that logic, will Porsche start calling 911's without an actual turbo, 911 turbo, simply because they consider it, their fast model. Or how about Tesla call it's flagship fast car a Carrerra GT, since hey, it can be associated with fast. Doug We all know that a name really shouldn't be taken literally, but it was Porsche who specifically used the term turbo in it's vehicles names, with a turbo, and they sparked a trend that continues to this day. So to say people with a bit of an issue with the name are wining, seems really naive. I personally don't care one way or another, but as just a simple opinion, I think calling it Turbo is odd at best. But, whatever. I enjoy your vids, even if your opinion irritates me some times.

i love the looks and all the stuff around the taycan, but one thing really gets me worried: you barely can do any maintainance yourself, electronic can fail over time and will not be cheap to fix, also i doubt the durability will be as good as older cars (lets say pre 2010) because the whole car operates and relies on the technic aspects. to be honest, id rather drive an oldschool car with less fancy things in it, where i know how to fix issues easy myself and not be too dependent to electronic. do not get me wrong, the porsche looks super nice - but too much screens and digital stuff is just not for me.

Electric cars, especially when they came out, aren't interesting because the cons that it brought were too high to switch for many, and because of that they had to be inexpensive (or as inexpensive as it could be) leading to boring commuters. The Model S was interesting, sure, but it was super expensive. The Model 3 isn't much better in terms of the pros vs cons in relation to cons, so yes while this is certainly an important car. Price is still a thingOnce the hydrogen infrastructure takes off, EV's will die off

So true about the plasticky B-Pillar at 18: 20. I used to own a 2018 Panamera, and it was the same thing. Worst, not only does it look and feel cheap, but I hit my elbow on the pointy shape that appears to be an extension of the armrest coming from the door cards. So sad that Porsche didnt even invest a couple of additional to cover the B-pillar inside appropriately. Teslas Model S for comparison extends the door cards armrest into the B-pillar and uses the same soft materials.

I feel like Porsche will eventually catch up with Tesla and pass them. Volkswagen has so much money. Its kind of like apple and android. Apple is Tesla. So apple came out with all the innovative tech but once android had a nice interface all the phones using android are super powered compared to apple phones. This will kind of be like the Tesla vs everyone else race. Tesla will be on top for now until everyone else starts doing it.

And for me The Range Rover SVR is relly fast because I was in the passengers seat and because someone asked me if I wanted to sit in it and get a short ride around a little part of the freeway in our area and my back was soo painfull after it because it was the first time getting launched in a car and wasn't used to it, so. Oh my, this thing will age horribly and no other review so far attended me to the fact so well. Crazy The tech and controls appear like what people thought the future might be in 2010. Horrible ergonomics already, and imagine when screens get better and this ages yet more. As Matt Farah said on Model 3 Performance, I want to lease one but by God don't buy it

The moniker Turbo would never be put on a combustion engine car without there actually being one in the car. People would call bull immediately. So why is this any different? That time honored little device is now to be reduced to a marketing ploy? Its memory muddled and forgotten? Say it aint so Mr DeMuro.

These infotainment systems are getting dumber and dumber. I don't want to touch a screen 100 times to adjust air or turn up/down the volume. I think that there are a number of physical buttons/switches that can't be removed (they look good, too, if there aren't too many)

Ok, lets drop the BS and get to the point were this electric vs petrol debate is gonna end once and for all. its like iWatch vs Rolex, everybody knows which one is the better choice for its primary function yet everyone will prefer the other one around their wrist.
