Doug I drove the E63 in Dallas a couple years ago while there for Thanksgiving with family. The boutique dealer had one with low mileage. I wanted it so bad but the wife hates wagons. I have 997 Twin Turbo which I had seriously considered trading. The E63 was the early version with RWD only (like yours. The sound was amazing and for those who don t know what it is its a total sleeper. I still want one but it has to be AWD and the S version if I can find one. CLS63 resembles the Panamera Grand Turismo for sure.

CLS and E-class's with the bang & olufsen audio option lose the spare tire.
The Bang and & olufsen was an option on the e-class as well.
To access RS mode (launch control, you need to first put the sport mode (limited traction control) Then stop the car, hold the brake. Turn the knob to RS, click the right paddle, floor it and let off the brake. Then scream with joy lol.

FUN FACT: The RS in the mode selector is Race Start. You have to have it in sport mode, traction in sport mode too and then you can select RS mode. Then in the gauge cluster you'll see a message Race start available, shift up to confirm and you hit the right paddle, floor the brake, floor the gas and go.

you are using the term ultra rare way too often and for no reason.
it is not a limited production car, you see it pretty often (considering the price) all over Europe.
mercedes marketing department might thought that it wouldnt be succesful in the US, but that doesnt make it an ultra rare car

The light-up speaker in the door is only for the very expensive Bang & Olufsen stereo package. You can see the subwoofer in the trunk. The car probably has run-flat tires so it doesn't need a spare. At least that is how it is set up in my 2016 E-Class.

Americans restrictions. Here in UK we can import pretty much anything as long as it can be taxed accordingly. Yet you Yanks land of the Free, home of the Brave my ass can't even import a car without Government agreement.

RS mode on the drive select dial stands for Race Start, another way to say launch control. There's a few steps to get it into that mode. I'm kind of surprised Doug's previous AMG wagon didn't have that.
