I would buy it just to be different, although I can see it being very useful for going to the shore and for bicycles. I have a CUV that can only really hold one bike in it, which is a pain when my friends want to take our bikes to a trail somewhere. They should really make a 4wd version though, since that would probably attract more buyers.

Weird to see they're selling large pickups and small pickups in the States but not the medium ones like the Ford Ranger or the Nissan Navara. These City Pickups are just impractical and the mid-sized pickups literally sold worldwide solve the problem much better lol

I think it s a fun and clever little vehicle but it makes zero sense in the US. I feel this is much better positioned in the EU market where streets are smaller and the need for a truck-like vehicle that isn t the size of a house is likely appealing

It is probably just me but it reminds me of Kup from the 80s Transforms animated movie. Not identical but he was supposed to have been a futuristic pickup truck. It's the first thing I thought of when I saw the thumbnail.

It's interesting to see how this and the Maverick will sell for other manufacturers to launch they already existing small pick-up trucks in the US. Like the RAM 700/1000, Renault Oroch or the Volkswagen Saveiro.

Designed in California? Well, California has the most car & truck owners, both private and commercial. And, Southern California is the home of the most of the world's automotive design studios

Well I was like I'm not a fan then he starts to show off cool stuff and I'm like that's really nice. But keeping my 1991 Nissan Hardbody D21 base with 4 cylinder 5 speed manual rwd 2 door.

What's unique about this truck? The 1982 Subaru Brat was front wheel/4whl drive. Then there is the Subaru Baja. Pretty much all that Hyundai is getting noted for Subaru has already done.

Doug I think you are off the mark on expecting this to be a dismal failure. I think it's going to be wildly successful. Maybe not as many numbers as the Tucson but it will take off.
