I do have to laugh a little that he climbs into the back to use the emergency door release. I am only 5'6 (so not the longest arms) and the one time I needed to use this feature on my '01 GTS, I opened the trunk and just simply reached around from the side and popped it open.

This was my dream car when I was a teenager. Was so gorgeous when it came out. Love the original design and the GTS design. Shocked me how small it was in person and inside. Looked so big in posters. Drove it once and def not a daily driver. Lol

Did you ever drive it in the rain? I ask because I heard the early GTSs had potential issues with leaking above the rear view mirror as well as the side door window areas where the exposed glass meets the weather stripping.

Doug, how is it you haven't driven a Dodge Stratus aka Chrysler Sebring or even an intrepid? I guess a viper is more badass than a long, low RAM sedan. I've got 190, 000 and slowly rusting Find one

You forgot that you cant put in the battery under the hood. you have to remove the rear drivers tire, also the seatbelt is only that way in the gts and acr, its normal in the regular vipers

Those cars don't respect anyone or thing. Its a monster shrouded in fiberglass ready to chew your face off and disintegrate your body into a fine red mist. Sounds like fun XD.

Yeah that's what I do on my gen 3 when my battery runs out. pop the hood, hook up a jump starter then open my door. Needs to get jumped anyway if the battery is flat: P

You can buy a low-milage used Subaru BRZ for the same price as a Dodge Viper hood. Then you can get a decent Turbo kit for that BRZ for the price of 4 Dodge Viper tires.
