+Doug Demuro You'll be so close yet so far, I have relatives in Montana, but they don't live near Billings and you're coming to northern California, but I live in southern California There's an Aston Martin dealership close to where I live it's called Aston Martin Newport Beach, there are so many exotic car dealerships in Newport Beach Lamborghini Newport Beach has been the country's #1 Lambo dealer 4 years in a row and they hold exotic car meets on the first Saturday of each month from 9-11am, you should bring your Aston or your Viper sometime

Doug. Not that you care one bit, but I saw you on I-80 going eastbound in Illinois where I live. I was not sure at first until I went back to your videos and saw the same plate and rear window stickers, and sure enough identical match I was actually in the middle of making a video blog myself and also caught you passing me on my dash cam. Ill have to go back and look at that footage. It was pretty cool to me at least lol. Nice to almost meet you

No room for luggage because of all the survival equipment and water you will need. lolI know this whole bumper to bumper warranty is eventually going to involve the P. R. department at the head office in U K. or U. S. if the car fares well, then they will invite you to England to discuss your journey in a corporate slideshow. Then then will offer you one at cost.

Doug Extend your route to Los Angeles Plenty of fans here, and we have an Aston Martin dealer. you know, just in case. Heck ill even let you review my 2016 MK7 GTI and make a video of it. Or you can drive my 2007 BMW 335 coupe with 143k on the clock so you can nit pick the hell out of it, and educate viewers as to why a warranty is so important. haha.

What car do you recommend? A Maserati GranTurismo or a Porsche 911? I'm trying to figure out which car is better overall. Which car is less expensive to maintain in the long haul, and which one provides an overall better experience? I made a multi-state trek in the Maserati and that car is a head turner. Just wondering how a 911 stacks up.

If you're going to visit in Boise and then Billings then drive via Stanley, ID. The mountain pass from Boise to Stanley is just amazing and it gets better as you climb up the mountains. Once you get to the top, you'd think you took a wrong turn and ended up at Switzerland. Google->Stanley, ID->Images.

Yeah, no worries. I did Calgary to Montreal and back in my Vantage (through the states) and only had a the engine light come on for about a day, then it went out. Burned two litres of oil though. Re-sale takes a hit, but so what. Best seats in any car I've ever owned for long distance travel.

Yeah sure, drive coast to coast and stop to meet people; but when you went to Vermont did you stop for coffee in Southington, Connecticut? Nooooooooooooooooo (You probably drive right through here, can't imagine how you might have routed your trip north any differently.

You are going to take a 6k trip in an Aston Martin, and you are only planning on two weeks? You are a BRAVE soul. I suspect you will meet many people on your trip, ( assuming you get out of your home state) mostly repairmen. I wish you luck
