Adding to what Doug already said (as a C6 and Vel Satis owner):
- top tier versions had reclined rear seats
- xenon lamps move along with the steering wheel, enhancing visibility in the corners
- hood has explosive materials near the hinges and in case of hitting a pedestrian they lift the hood few inches, providing a softer hit for the pedestrian
- pneumatic suspension had a camera below the front bumper and it was helping determining how to damp a certain pothole. Additionally, the computers controlling the front axle were sending signals to the rear axle, so even if the front passengers felt a bump, rear seat occupants were even more insulated from any road imperfections
Also, Doug - this weird rear window really helps with rain: )

One thing you missed is the fact that it has frameless and double pane windows! Wich are great for insulation but have a tendency to sort of get out of alignement around the corners. And those are relatively expensive and rare too. My advice for somebody that wants one is to consider a C5 II. Same platform, more consensual styling, availiable as a wagon, same engine options plus some extra, and also availiable with the Hydractive suspension. Demending on the years and trim level, the Hydractive suspension of the C5 II uses either the same suspension as the C6 or an even more advanced one, just as confortable but less wobbly.

Center Console, for audio and climate controls is literally same as Peugeot 407's, that stick for next track and volume changes is also same Peugeot 407, Some even newer Peugoet's have that exact same thing. French cars are indeed are very similar and literally lots of parts are same, arm rest and all that central console is literally same as 407's aswell. I own 407 still, 400k on it, 0 mechanical issues, i have 1. 6 HDI with 110hp and its more enough for Europe roads, combined fuel consumption is about 6l/100km for me.

I love the styling. I would probably have bought one used some years ago, if I didn't have an old citroen XM and therefor knew what I'd have to expect. Unfortunatelly, the C6 is not terribly reliable and also fairly expensive to fix, when something goes wrong. On top of that, citroen is very bad with parts supply. Parts supply has never been citroens strength, and it's especially true with the C6. It's a very comfortable car, looks great and stands out of the masses, but it's not an easy or cheap car to own.

Actually yes you can close of individual ac vents, just keep turning the nobs for up and down, and that closes them. The two knobs up by the infotaiment screen are for controling the air flow for the two vents pointed at the windshield, behind the infotaiment screen housing.
Also citroen is a luxury maker, so what if it makes smaller economy cars, by that logic mercedes is also not a luxury car maker since they make A class since the 1997.

I really love the styling of the C6 so I find it a bit unfair for it getting a 4 in Styling. But then again, just like mine, Doug's opinion is just that: an opinion. And everyone has the right of it.
Anyway! The long hood up front may look stylish but it's actually there for pedestrian safety! Back in 2005, the C6 was actually the first car to achieve a 5-star Safety Rating in Pedestrian Safety crash tests!

I enjoy watching the quirky car reviews. I often think I'd want one to start but by the end of the video I'd be like, nahhh. This car - despite the quirks, I might actually want. It would be the car I kept under a cover and use as a comfortable weekender to cruise in. I think if it had a sunroof, it would be awesome. Thanks for the great video, Doug.

I got a citroen c3 from 2021, its actually crazy how good citroens are. the suspensions r smoother than high end mercedes and bmw cars and the build quality is just crazy. yes it r cheaper materials but its still build in a way u dont hear or see anything u shouldnt and for a hatchback it has a crazy amount of space inside

I feel the comfortrating is too low. Having driven both cars, I can say that the C6 is seriously more comfortable than the BMW 750 and it is beyond me how a real Citroen with the hydropneumatic suspension can score a lower comfortmark than any Toyota or Kia from any era.

So, the Dark switch is akin to Saab's Night Panel button, except with two options for dashboard darkness instead of one. Interesting. Also, like the DS and CX before this, the C6 had some pretty forward-thinking features for safety and comfort.
