The demon is very nice but when the motor shatters it's going to be a lot of time and a few thousand dollars. The demon should have been a twin turbo with either a snows washer fluid injection kit for more boost to make even more power. Water injection, wind shield washer fluid injection and alcohol injection have been used for years to cool supercharged and turbo engines and to make more power. Because washer fluid is easy to purchase at any Walmart pretty cheap and it makes the biggest bang for the buck. Or the demon should have been a twin turbo with two fuel tanks one for riding with pump gas and the other race gas for the boost both to make more Power and cooler. Blower - supercharged Motors are hard on parts, wear and tear of the engine. Continuous maintenance tear downs and failures. Nitrous and blower - supercharged motors don't stay together or last as long as the turbo motors do. Look at Top Fuel and Funny car racing they're tearing the motors down everyone run. Waste of time and money. If they could only go twin turbo, intercooled and nitromethane more power but longer lasting and a whole lot cheaper. Don't believe it? The strongest commercial engines in the world are all turbo.

I really appreciate the opinion of the owner as a longtime Mopar owner. I must say kids. I grew up in the 80s with CARB and emissions strangling regulation where Pontiac and Corvette was the only US vehicles that kept performance alive besides the Corvette. The late 80s was somewhat saved by Buick of all companies and the venerable 57 Chevy like Ford Mustang 5. 0L. GM went fwd and lost its way for more than a decade as did Dodge except for the Viper. To see a car like the Demon produced brings tears to my eyes. Congrats to Dodge, Ford and Chevy for feeding the horespower Gods in the present day. Truly remarkable given all the tree huggers out there today.

I think we have had minimum 95 octane gas in Germany for like 2 decades. The super gas which is the name for the regular gas in Germany is per law least 95 octane and the super plus 98 plus, with many fuels from shell and similar brands having 100 or it seems even more octane ( if that is possible) for the same price. It seems to be a normal thing here to use so called racing fuel as the standard fuel for your Audi or bmw or Toyota or whatever. Thought that is the same in America as well since Germany car manufacturers apparently ship the same engines to the USA that we have in here in europe.

A little correction on when you talk about the most powerful production V8. Unfortunately Koenigsegg has it since the CCX. They had a twin Supercharged V8 with more than 1000hp and then on the Agera and so on, they use a twin turbocharged V8 with more than 1000hp These vehicles are considered production vehicles even tough they have a very limited numbers. Other than that, very good review on the Demon

My advice if you're an adrenaline junkie and it goes sideways odds are you won't counter steer enough to save her, when the rear grabs it will launch you. Trick I've learned twice. Pull into your slide and 360 it. As long as you have room it will stay on the road and surprisingly the momentum leaves as the energy is released.

Not bad for an Italian car. Fiat Demon is pretty sweet. Lost 20k in value when the back wheels left the lot. Hopefully they put a lifetime warranty on that thing or expensive repairs WILL be in your future NO DOUBT about it.
