The Isuzu VehiCROSS Is the Weirdest SUV You Forgot About

The Isuzu VehiCROSS is one of the weirdest SUVs of its time period. Today, I'm reviewing this special 2001 VehiCROSS to show you the ins and outs of the strange Isuzu VehiCROSS. Thomas Marshall: Don't mean to step on your toes Doug but if you want to know the vehicle that put Isuzu in mainstream America's spotlight you have to go back a little farther than the SUV's till you hit the Impulse Turbo with the Lotus Suspension. It was an odd looking but well performing hit on our end of the pond. The I=Mark was another sport compact that was pretty popular too. A lot of those saw the lotus conversion along with the Impulse drivetrain because the two cars were so similar. Cool cars worth trying to find and review.

This when Isuzu faded away. They stopped selling cars, then shut down their dealerships, but still sold a lot of box trucks. I worked for a company that built advertising trucks in China and then mated them to Isuzu chassis. This car is the descendant of the Isuzu Sport, a shortened 2-door Rodeo with a ragtop I. Back, intended for outdoorsy people. Center of gravity too high.

I bought one of these new back in 1999. I still have it with only 95000 miles on it. Runs great and fast People are still amazed by it's sporty racing style today I love it This guy is so negative and the only thing weird is his review about this awesome SUV. People are always asking me if it's for sale. I say sorry but not for sale.

I actually think it is a good idea to have bottom half of your SUV plastic covered. Brilliant - no worries about small scratches or den't which would lead to rusting or would just look bad. Scratched black plastic looks basically the same as not scratched one, so for off road vehicles ideal. More cars should have that, not less.

I wanted one of these in the worst way when I was in college But, alas, my 7/hr part-time job would not allow it. It looked super-futuristic in '99 and was really eye-catching. Because it was so different, the styling has aged really well. Unless you know what a Vehicross is, you can't really tell what age this car is.

Well to me this car looks better even today. i think the design was much future oriented then. With some modifications(5 doors, C pillar, sun roof, rear windshield)this design will look better and will outrun many suv's running today. isuzu can relaunch it with these modifications and some engine refinements.

17. 23 trying to get into the rear seat, Isuzu didn't even try to make it practical. One of the many things I love in VWs front seat in VWs moves (forward) out of the way to make it easy to enter/exit the rear seat. One asset the Japanese posses. copying and perfecting other peoples inventions.

You know, it is easy to call this car weird because it looks unlike the styles of most cars. But there isn't something objectively weird about it. You could call it ugly. Ok. Yes. But Doug DeMuro doesn't realy show what is exactly about it that deserves it to be called weird and bizarre

If you have a hangover, the HIGH PITCH and LOUD voice and RAPID FIRE speech, is probably the worst thing to hear. Even turning the volume down to 1 doesn't help. I feel my heart rate going to 150 bpm and blood pressure going up, like a nuclear missile is on the way.

I live in a town in Kentucky with 5, 000 people. One guy has one of these monstrosities. Whenever I see it, I dunno whether to laugh or be envious. Lol. Also, he's never seen a vent that blows between your legs? Try almost any GM product from the 80s.
