Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 review! The Lamborghini Essenza is a really special hypercar -- it's incredibly rare, incredibly expensive, and built for the race track. Today I'm going to review the Essenza's quirks and features and show you all around the Lamborghini Essenza Lunamaria: This is similar to the Ferrari FXX K track only car where you payed millions for a car that you can only use during designated Ferrari track days, and Ferrari keeps the car maintained and stores it, otherwise. I heard someone managed by buy one and make it street legal, and Ferrari was NOT happy about it lol

Am I the only one who's gotten bored with supercars as they've gotten older? I remember pouring over every single page of every single car magazine as a kid and teenager. The technology development was amazing and you could see the impact of it on the specs/times of the car. Supercars these days all seem to have a similar shape, specifications, and performance figures and I feel like we've just about reached the limit of internal combustion technology. Really, the only thing that's going to get these cars to have higher performance on the street is to radically improve tire technology.
Electric cars are cool, too, but they don't have the sort of pull that IC cars do from an engineering and mechanical aspect for me.
It's gotten to the point now that even if I was rich, I wouldn't buy a Lambo, or Ferarri not only because I'd feel like a huge bellend driving one, but because there's nothing special about them anymore.
I'd have a stable full of interesting cars and restomods.

The large red button above the E within a circle symbol is the Emergency cut off switch which turns off all electronic systems and the engine in the event of a crash. Most notably F1 cars have a similar button marked with the E within a circle, it is not in the cockpit but near the right sidepod so track marshals can easily reach the button and disable the car after a crash. The fire extinguishers will probably be automated like in most race cars, only activating once smoke or fire is detected within the cockpit.

Honestly I am not a fan of Lamborghini's current limited edition business model. They are basically selling handfuls of cars to the same people, over and over. What's in a brand if no one else can obtain your product. You fade from the public's mind, and people stop giving a shit.

This looks more like a Countach than the new Countach itself. Other than that, just another car for Lambo to shout how Italian they are.
I mean it's great at what it does but these track-only hypercars are pointless.

The sidepod air intakes are more for the cooling radiators and rear brakes than for feeding the engine. The top intakes will feed the engine for combustion and the open rear end of the car is better for cooling.

You pay 3, 5 million but Lamborghini keeps the car, takes care of it and ships it anywhere for you to drive it. So it's like being a professional driver but paying money instead of earning it.

Serious question: what's the point of a race track only car that you can't keep in your garage and is not built for any real motorsport category? I don't understand who buys this and with what purpose

Keep winning Doug would go back to the old Doug score where he runs through each category and why he's scoring it that. Don't like having him just throw it on a chart, feels less objective.
