I used to work for Volkswagen and was in a meeting once for the rollout of the ID. 4, and one of the highlights they made in the interview was. and a review from Doug DeMuro. They didn't plainly say reviews from automotive journalists, no. they only said Doug DeMuro.

I love that Doug has remained down to earth and kept his same unique style and delivery all these years. These are just a few reasons major companies give him exclusives and pre-releases to review - he's earned the respect of the industry by being true to himself and his fanbase. Always been one of my favorite automotive journalist.
