The 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS Manual Was a Crazy V8 SUV Sports Car

Things I noticed:
- Heated seats having 5 stages (6 on the audi)
- Little buttons to change the center screen content
- Blinker/Wiper Stocks are the same
- Screens in the gauge cluster are the same but with different color (red on the audi)
- Seats are a combination of alcantara and leather, i have the same materials but the seats are a bit smaller in the audi although overall design is extremely similar
- Back center arm rest is very similar if not the same
- Side pillars look the same, just a bit bigger
There are probably more things since both are part of VW group but I didn't notice any.

I never was a fan of the 1st gen Cayenne looks wise, but I think the GTS version doesn't look bad. Only bad part is because of the rarity and the car market here, these aren't some cheap used SUV. My friend over in the UAE was able to find a GTS (auto) for basically 10k USD which is the going rate over there, vs here I see the GTS manuals being listed for like 40k- 50k lol

My friend over in the UAE was able to find a GTS (auto) for basically 10k USD which is the going rate over there, vs here I see the GTS manuals being listed for like 40k- 50k lol

I remember the last time a standard trans was available in an Audi but it was NOT AWD. I was dismayed when I saw that in the past. I would have to check the VIN for the drivetrain if I were going to buy this. What does this Title mean as CA salvaged I seem to remember the newer ones are over 5, 000 lbs. One would think that Audi could make them a little lighter

11: 38 - Tesla Model S prototype with giant center screen and all-screen gauge cluster was unveiled literally the same year when this Porsche was made. Seems like germans lost their leadership in car world technology somewhere around that time. They was too busy cheating on emission testing, have no time for innovations.

This reminds me of my first new car, a 2004 Kia Sorento. I had the LX model with the manual transmission, V6, and off road/4wd package. I loved that SUV and miss good manual SUV's so much. It is very sad that the era of manual SUV's is over, now you can only get a jeep with a manual.

A little worrying there is a grab handle for the driver, seems to me that if the driver feels grabbing that handle instead of the wheel then things are headed in a wrong direction
PS. Rare indeed. I searched and found just a single one for sale in Germany.

Very surprised to see Doug screw up the mountain and road selector. Yes, those pictures are misleading but that switch is to put it in low range. Press it down again and it locks the transfer case. Its just a fancy 4 low and transfer case locker button lol

I have never liked the concept of a sporty SUV. Even less at a price higher than that of a real sports car. The truth is that the Cayenne always seemed like a new-money housewife's car to me.

When i was 9 my big cousin bought a v6 2008 cayenne and took me for a ride around the city when we were on a vacation
