my MINI Cooper sounds a chime and flashes the temperature readout at 37 degrees, apparently to warn me of possible black ice road conditions. it does this only at 37 degrees. not 32 or 38. just every time it senses the exterior temp to be 37. luckily I don't live where this happens more than a few mornings a year

just Fyi. the aston martin db11 has a soft close hood because the hood is one single piece of aluminium. it wound bend and buckle if it had regular latches.
