Im not waiting for this. I live in an apartment building and park on the street (nowhere to charge it) Electricity costs as much as gasoline where I live (lower NY state, m) and we have no off-peak discounts. I also need normal wheels/tires and some actual ground clearance (my Camry has more than this SUV. It also isnt affordable to the average American. A glass roof gives you some head room, but kills you in a flip-over accident as the ultra-strong roof isnt padding, at all.

It is not the Tesla everyone has been waiting for. Frankly I would rather have shingles than a Model Y. Or the original Ford Model Y. SUVs are an aberration. Propelling too much weight, with too much frontal area, usually with no passengers, when a proper car would suffice. It is the Tesla some people have been waiting for. And I enthusiastically await these shitter SUVs being taxed into oblivion, as their inefficiency richly deserves.

The only thing the Model Y has going for it is the fact that it is an electric car with decent range. And this is true for all Teslas basically. Once the European and Asian car companies finally come out with electric cars with a comparable range, no one is going to buy Teslas anymore. The quality, the ergonomics, the entire way these things work is just not good enough to be competitive once the other manufacturers have caught up.

Teslas are fast and thats probably the only pro. They have paint and body panel issues. They are impractical and the touch screen is poop. They are expensive and Tesla blackmails its customers to only have tesla repair the car. Tesla has the same following apple has for its phones but if my screen breaks on my iphone apple doesnt ban my phone if i fixed the screen. Also i dont have time to waist waiting for my car to charge.

its a pity the bottom of the seats don't have support for your legs so passengers will probably get tired on long rides, although you won't have that much time to get tired since most of the times you stop to charge it you'll have to wait about 30 min

Daug buddy, all the tech features you described exist in Model 3. Including the wheels. Your last review didnt have the full interior package that's why you missed out. Also Daug. Says he wont cover the tech, PROCEEDS TO COVER ALL THE TECH

I like Teslas but that piano black is terrible and i bet most of the external tech/self drive doesn't work in winter/snowy conditions and the battery range plummets in cold conditions, not exclusive to Tesla but worth considering.

For as techy as a Tesla is Im surprised they didnt offer an electric tint or electrochromic roof like the Mclaren does. Hit a button and instant black roof panel. Unless that would raise the price significantly.

For the upgraded Model at 61000. 00 its just not worth it. Especially since its not a luxury vehicle anymore. They take a lot out that would be considered Luxury. Get a slightly older Mercedes & itll be way nicer.
