Nissan S-Cargo: Performance Tests and Drive Review

I tested the 0-to-60 performance and top speed of my Nissan S-Cargo. Then I did a review of how it drives in the city and on the highway. PHILMKD1995: This car is absolutely revolting and disgusting to look at and mind-blowingly slow and poorly designed economically, aerodynamically and ascetically even for a small car standards. Nissan should've put a bit more effort into development and model design so that they can make it even a bit more mass appealing not only for the local Japanese market but maybe for the European and or American market, make it more fuel efficient by replacing the old carburetor engine and completely design it from that meets the necessary emissions requirements and road safety guidelines.

Doug DeMuro Being a Research Engineer perpective for this so called sedan S-Cargo. Is specificly designed for the Japan, where the land size is 377, 962 Km2, the city is conjested of traffic and roads are narrow small. Engineer sat design a objective of efficient: ) delievery a outcome of Nissan S-Cargo. Not to be base on sport or normal sedan too. I was amazed they have provided a automated boot door release, the sense efficiency. These design are good research how future concept can evolve.

Maybe it's just me but doing acceleration tests while there is snow and ice on the road just seems like a bad idea. Top speed? You have to turn around and do it again and average the two. Have you considered working for the post office? With right hand drive you can pull up to a rural mail box and reach through the window and put the mail in the box. Looks like there is room in back for a couple mail bags.

It's as fast as my 1988 Cadillac Brougham D'elegance. Not bad my Cadillac has a V8 & a 4 Speed transmission. allot heavier. But still. Not the worse. My Cadillac is only gauged to go up to 140kms and I've done that in it. Didn't seem to happy going that speed so if the gauge went further I doubt it would of. Bottom line I still feel I would love to have this car just to laugh at and make use of

I saw one of those on the road and I knew instantly it is from Asia because it has that cartoonish face. It is adorable commercial delivery vehicle. It has flat sides for advertisement signs, it has funny face that gets its noticed in the city = it is perfect. How many thousands have you made on it Doug?

Well, Japan is not a big country, comparing with the USA. This car is designed especially to be driven in the city where the space is very limited. Then, you cannot expect much with the car like this. Just grab a key, drive it to the market and drive back home.

I imagine this was designed for use in Japanese cities like Tokyo, which, if anything, are like New York on steroids. When you think about that, this little snail actually does it job extremely well. It's a great city driver as Doug found out.

I don't drive my Toyota Echo more than 140km/h. Small cars are very dangerous if you lose the control. Mind that Toyota Echo is way bigger than this Nissan box. You are playing with your life kid and that seat belt won't save your life believe me.
