Now with the C8 Corvette it'll drop even more in value, folks just won't want to pay silly money for these existing rip off exotic cars. Now the spell has been broken, people are waking up to how they have been taken advantage of. Things will be a whole lot different from now on. I expect many models and even many manufacturers will come to an end. The Acura NSX is as dead as a Dodo even Mclaren's won't be selling in the numbers they once were. The 570s is below 200k but who cares about it now, whatever mystique it had has all but evaporated, the kudos in owning one is gone, the owners will be seen more and more to be MUGS, spending all that money to be seen as a MUG. Sure some will still have the money to do so, but even though they may not buy a C8, (Some might later on, when the 750hp+ versions come out) they will have been 'put off' buying new McLarens and similar makes, it won't make the same statement it once did, that EXCLUSIVITY will be almost gone, due mainly in part to Johnny Corvette enthusiast with their 65k C8's flooding the highways. The C8 has changed the Car Industry overnight and in many more ways to come that we'll see enfold. Now Mclaren's, lambo's etc mean NOTHING.

I'm 39 and have lived in the Tidewater region of Virginia my whole life and have never heard of anyone being arrested for speeding. I've personally been pulled for going almost 30mph over before and didn't go to jail. There was a bill passed years ago that would have made it law that you could possibly be arrested for all sorts of traffic violations including speeding but there was so much outrage over it it was repealed before ever taking effect. I can't understand where this myth you propagate in several of your videos comes from. Perhaps a few supercar owners have been arrested for doing some crazy speed and the cops arrested them just to make a point and screw with the rich assholes who usually own these sorts of cars. And then this myth gets started that you can be arrested for speeding in Virginia.

I love my Corvette C6Z. And I'm waiting to see what the newest C8 will be like. It has a very comfortable ride and so far, at nearly 70Kmiles, still feels new. But, I would love one of these cars. McLaren/Miller cars here in CT sells 570s' lightly used for about 160K. Now. if the transmission goes in my C6Z, it's about 4-5K to replace. If the same goes bad in this car, I'd imagine replacement cost is more like 15-20K. Jay Leno complained getting a new windshield wiper blade for his P1 was 1500. He didn't get one. Apparently, even gazillionares have their limits, too. Though I'm an Italian sports car fan, I'd probably prefer a ML over those. Something about the way they design their cars. Especially for the. A doff of the hat to ML.

Turn the wipers on, I wanna see them in actionIt'll never happen, but I wish McLaren would make a sub 100k mini super car like a Porsche Cayman competitor and they could call it the 400LT or 375S. Make just a non turbo version of the 570S. Does anyone else like the exterior styling if the 570S more than the 720S? The 720S is better all around, 100%, but I love the look of the 570S and it's more reminiscent of the MP4-12c, just more updated, modern, and sleek.

Paddles are not attached to the wheel because its actually bad habit to change a gear mid corner. The relative torque changes (especially on downshift) can destabilise a car and what you don't want is to destabilise a car going at speed, when the car isn't straight. That would be bad. Gear changes should all be done before turns are made. Good preparation = faster.

It seems that the 570S looks much cheaper inside than the 650S or MP412C (or what it's called) for example. It more closely mimicks an 80's Mazda than an almost new McLaren, and at over 200 grand that seems rather unneccesary. However the overall design beats all it's more expensive brethren hands down.

The turn signals are shaped like the McLaren logo. You mean the Nike logo turned sideways? I can see it now. Boss: have you finished designing the logo yet? Designer: Not yet, sir. Boss: Just do it We don't have all yearDesigner: (looks down at shoes) Just do it? No problem

Doug really seems to care about light weight exotics having manual seats as if the owner isnt going to set it once and leaving it. Idk why it annoys me so much that he doesnt get it. No motors means less weight and lower seat. Plus manual seats are faster to adjust

The 570S is another super car that is a perfect range of performance & quality at a value. If I had the means. it would be this or the Ferrari Portafino. Both have great styling. both are fast and precise. I think the 570s may give you more per

If the battery is dead, how will you open it from outside? Does it have a manual release from the outside? Don't tell me you can put your hand through the window. The battery is dead and it wont roll down
