Can someone help me understand something? Old car 2008 E63, current 2010 ML63, same engine and both engines feel miles apart from each other. the E63 was perfect driver, comfortable but a bat out of hell when pushed. My ML is just a smooth fast ride, nothing nuts. why is that? Transmission? my friend has the last of the N/A 6. 2 C63 and that thing you get in it and it just wants to scare you. less horsepower but definitely a monster. Just confused. anyone?

OK, lets talk black series Other than the fact that it holds its value, I really dont see all of the appeal here. Its basically a race car. No panoramic roof, or some of the other luxuries that the SL 55. Great fast car and if someone gave me when I would definitely take it. But the widebody kit and wheel base Make this car a little overpriced.

Hmm. must be some sort of luxury seats on that car. Or perhaps a US-market-only thing? The (German spec) CLK Black I drove back in 2008 had these ultra spartan, racecar-looking bucket seats. Oh, and the driving position was pretty annoying, since it was slightly offset to one side of the wheel. Still one of the most fun cars I've ever driven.

Awesome. Truelly awesome car. But what in the world did they think when placing the battery there? Were they drunk and high at the same time? Hey, a sports car's battery won't die, ALL the people drive with it the whole year There is no winter or so where the battery might die or so. And the placement is perfect for weight distribution: 3

I had a CLK55 AMG which was by far the worst car I've ever owned. A true piece of shit. The best thing that happened to it was being rear-ended and being written off. I didn't get close to what I had into it from the insurance but I got far more than anyone would have paid for it. It was an endless money pit.

Wow very surprised I have a 2003 CLK55 AMG Black and personally I like mine over this. It has basically the same interior minus some nice options that I have. I know the 63 is faster but the 55 is fast enough for me. Very happy with my CLK55 AMG Reliable fast and comfortable this car is simply awesome.

Doug is my righthand man when it comes to the auto market. wud wrk at a classic automoble club for free just to get a feel for high performance, too bad I'm stuck living in the NYC area where there's hardly any car culture, I wish doug existed 15 -20 yrs ago, wud of never made 2Car mistakes

Such a cool center console. There's a similair one for the c63 of that era only for euro specs. The little roll back shield goes over the cup holder. Just ordered my euro spec center console oem from Mercedes surplus for my c63 amg. Doing the retrofit when it comes iy.

Obviously, carrying more than 50kg in the trunk is possible and ok. I think they just put it there for when trying to get good acceleration times or putting it around a track to preserve the balance. In a normal situation you can load it up.
