I've got a '17 Sport S Unlimited which is the JK. I checked out the '18 JL thinking about up trading and Nope not interested. They've made to many changes to the JL that I don't like, I liked the feel of the drive of it but not the cosmetics of it. They changed the door handles, the bumpers are just ugly, the rear side window is only on the Windage Model with the remote top which should have been on all models for what their charging for the Jeeps. The front blinkers are in the fenders so if you want to change the front fenders your going to have to add blinkers. I especially don't like the addition of digital component's which adds to more that can go wrong. I'm pretty sure the majority of buyers wanted the Jeep for its ruggedness and ability to handle rough terrain but seems their going powder puff with it. Checked out the Wrangler Truck the other day and was disappointed also. Seems they tried to make it a mid-size truck with a short bed cargo area. I was hoping it to be more of a Jeep Wrangler with a cargo bed about the size of the Wranglers cargo area. If I wanted a Mid-Size Truck I'd go buy a Mid-Size Truck. I think they've missed the boat on both the updated JL Model and the Truck or have for me at least. The 2017 will be my last purchase unless if they get back on track. So, disappointed.

Drove a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Limited for a couple weeks. Felt like it was trying to imitate a Porsche Cayenne, but managed to fail on all the best points of the cayenne, handling, acceleration, comfort, suspension. It felt like a fly by wire while the old 94 Jeep I drove for years felt like it was steering direct to wheel. the 2000s Porsche Cayenne I drove felt like a tightened up old Jeep with impeccable suspension. So Jeep or in this case, Chrysler, really pulled a epic fail. I wouldnt pay 15k for that piece of poop. American car manufacturers need to get their head out each others butts, theyre just making a fool of themselves. I could come in and tell them everything thats crp on their new vehicles but would they listen? Probably not. Thats why I would recommend a Toyota Camry over anything American besides a corvette. You name it, foreign vehicles are generally better than American cars for Americans. I think tommy boy really nailed it. I could poop in a box and label it guaranteed, people would buy it. But it doesnt change that American cars are basically poop in a box.

My dad has a 2010 Jeep Wrangler 4 door and the back seat is absolutely terrible there is no heat or ac in the back and we live in northern Wisconsin so it gets freezing cold and I am really tall as well as my parents so there is absolutely no room and the back speaker is right in front of my face so when he plays his terrible music its incredibly loud and the wind and road noise makes me feel like Im riding in a car from 1937 plus it has a minivan engine so when he accelerates it sounds like its dying and you cant see out the back window because its badly faded and when putting groceries in the back you have to bend over to put them in because of the window Sorry I vented so hard I just HATE IT SO MUCH THE NEW ONE IS SO MUCH BETTER

I really like the style, but it failed the legroom test. It was a problem knee banger for me, and that's a deal breaker. There are a lot of other off road styles with more headroom and legroom and at better value pricing. Unfortunately, the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the Nissan Xterra are no longer made. I can fit far more comfortably in either of them. Let's hope the designers produce more legroom and headroom on future designs- and that includes Jeep Wrangler, as well as other Jeep products. Maybe the new Toyota TJ Cruiser and the new Ford Bronco will show improved legroom.

Yea it's as if jeep was paying little Dougy to say cool that many times. I live California and I know for sure that all American protype vehicles are driven around here with black camo covers and another common thing I see on all those American prototype vehicles are Michigan plates. He has jeeps all from Michigan, yea someone paid for all the smiles and the use of the words so cool yea no thanks I guess it's always how do you have and I'll say whatever you want.

I find it interesting that you had headroom. You're 6'4, right? I'm 6'2 and my head was brushing the roof/ceiling on the previous model, hardtop or soft top. Looked like you had a couple of inches or so in the video. Were you slouching? Shame you didn't test the manual transmission version. Supposed to be a big improvement over the outgoing model as well.

It surprised me how many people don't actually understand the dimming mechanisms in the rear view. They'll drive around with lights beaming into they're eyes lol. I've trained people to drive and it's common for people to not know how to adjust outside mirrors too. You shouldn't have the back of the vehicle in the mirror but the lane next to you.

The slit between cup holder holes up front in the middle is for the key fob, not phones, you muppet. The slit is too shallow for phones. Where did the silly misappropriation start? Seems like every YouTube review muppet is repeating the same drivel. Go back to sleep, sonyou're high.

The original windshield was foldable to accommodate stretchers. They used to just lay flat and rest on some rubber feet. Humvees do the same however it's very difficult to lay a military Humvees Windows down. Compared to the cj, which would lay down with just 2 large wingnuts.
