The 2019 BMW Z4 has been redesigned -- and I'm reviewing the new BMW Z4. Today I'm going to review the Z4 and show you all the quirks and features of the Z4. I'm also driving the new 2019 Z4 to show you how it feels on the road

BMW releases a severely overpriced automatic-only two seater Z4. People just don't want two seater sports cars anymore. Toyota releases the long awaited Supra, automatic-only and fugly as hell. People just don't want sports cars anymore. Subaru/Toyota releases the BRZ with amazing handling and no power. People just don't want sports cars anymore. Ford cancels all car development except for the pickups and the Mustang. We know what people want and we'll give it to them. Dodge releases an even more bonkers Challenger with even more bonkers power. We know what people desire and we're happy to give it to them. Ferrari releases any overdesigned crap that's red with no attention given to the past and no concept of evocative beauty. If we charge 100k more than last year, people will still buy them. So viva Ferrari.

So the 2nd Gen Z4 is generic. but this 3rd Gen that looks like every other BMW convertible, just like 5-10% smaller, doesn't it? Hell from the side with top down it could even be a new SLK with that headlights, and the front reminds you of a current Fiat 124 Spider, I'm not the only one who sees that. Don't know which cars I could compare the 2nd Gen with except the 1st Gen; ) That's what I love about the previous Z4s (and the Z3) they DON'T look like a typical generic BMW. And with the new gen, they just made it look like a generic BMW. They really should've called it the Z5 or so, the Z3 had more in common with the first Z4s than this.

As you can see, this car has bucket seats that don't make you feel that free as in regular seat. The idea is give you this small touch of wind when going without top even when you seat in this bucket. Regarding one side parking lights, a lot of cars have that. It was quite common in Europe and still can be found but most of them implement it with turn signal switches. Leave turn signal engaged when leaving your car and this light will come up instead. I guess this car have returning turn signal switches so you can't really see if it is engaged or not.

I love this guy Im a huge car enthusiast and usually very annoyed by others that try to do what Doug does. I own a few cool cars and my goal is to own the cool car that Doug could score. Ive listened for years anD Ive really come to appreciate the doug score. I think Doug should start a go fund me page for his Mercedes wagon I would contribute This is My first post on you tube for anyone so I want everyone to know how much I appreciate and respect this guy

It is a nice car but I could never own a 'rag top' car. If this was an electrica hard top like a friend of mine has then it would be great. Doug is the type of guy who doesn't believe Europe actually exists but loves their cars; ) And American then, lol. I drove to France last week in a Fiat 500 because THAT is the way that my exotic car lifestyle rolls

so 5. 2 seconds to 60 and its slow. you gave the bronco and olds station wagon with about 140 hp a slow rating, and this was too slow as well? a 5 fun factor? drive a prius or corolla or minivan lately? You seem jaded as to what most americans are driving around in. Too many free press deals, and new cars to drive around that you dont pay for.

Am I the only enthusiast that misses manual transmission sports cars? I know the new automatic transmissions with mountain bike numbers of gears are faster, but having that added control and feel from a manual gearbox is half the fun. Not to mention, clutches are probably a bit cheaper than these new auto trannys.

They lost me after the E80 Z4 3. 0i with 236hp. I can still take a E85 generation with 335i N54 engine 306hp with lots of tuning potentials but ugly body. the design of the E80 is classic and timeless, what are they doing with this nonsense ugly lines here? yet no manual and costs 50k? niggaplease

I terest in this segment is waning. Until Porsche is mentioned. Then everyone who can goes nuts and pays double or triple what this car costs. I get it though. Porsche's are mostly coupes. Then it's other competitors or similarly laid out cars that sell in small numbers.

the trunk is nothing interesting. wow, how much does it weigh? what is the wheelbase. what size tires? your amused by the C temps in the heated seats menu. how wide are the seats? does it have enough leg support. what are you reviewing next, ? the metric fastener color?
