The 2019 Ram Heavy Duty has been redesigned, and I'm reviewing the new 2019 Ram 2500 HD. I'm going to take you on a tour of the 2019 Ram 2500 HD, and then I'm going to show you all the quirks and features of the new heavy-duty Ram

Less power then the power stroke diesel. Pound for pound the ford will out haul, tow, and handle better along with better fuel system and engine braking. The Dulley is now rated to tow about 36, 000 pounds. Cummins is good but its not better then a ford on paper and most tests. And no the dodge and Chevy do not tow more then the Ford. Ford purposely waited for Dodge and General Motors to release their new pick up trucks and release the figures of how much they could haul so that Ford could again this year beat them in that respect so if you do your research correctly and you actually have test driven knees hauling the max capacity you will come to find that the Ford power stroke is the premier pound for pound best pick up truck in the whole lineup of pick up trucks in the world thats not my opinion that is the facts for it is almost always just been best in class especially when it comes to towing I dont blame you though you may have done this review before Ford released those numbers as they just recently reviewed and revived and then released the figures for their new F 250 350 450 550

82k is ridiculous for a vehicle especially a fiat. (No its not a dodge it's a crappy fiat. Unless it's some high end auto maker that makes actual luxury or super sport vehicles this price for a damn pickup is ridiculous. And chevy, chrysler (fiat) and ford wonder why sales suck. I would never buy anything by Chevy, fiat, or ford etc for even 50k cause it's not going to be worth shit. This one of the many reasons why Americans are debt, they keep buying shit they cant afford up front from overpriced vehicles with features they dont even need that we survived without for years and in vehicle loans, buying homes they cant afford to the over inflation of a home in prices to credit cards. Like my god people you dont need backup cameras. It's called learn how to drive.

the ram is the shortest of the 3 heavy duties and the inline 6 is a real towing engine vs the v8's that are in the other trucks and I think with your value estimate you are a little too sucked up into brand names rather than the actual quality of the vehicle, this argument was a little less valid for the f250 (although the f250 has their 30 way seats which not even bentley or RR beat)but for the ram the fit and finish of the interior is being called one of the nicest interiors of any vehicle period by people who aren't brand snobs. For 85, 000 dollars its not like you're getting an S class and unlike mercedes or especially bmw this won't be living at a mechanics past 20, 000 miles

I live in Graz, Austria and I see quite a few dozen RAMs driving around town. In fact, there is one parking just outside the apartment, prolly belongs to one of my neighbour. It is of course an older model, but there is always this urge inside me to laugh, everytime I see that monstrosity, because. Married with children, Al Bundy, '74 Dodge and stuff: DBut now looking thoroughly at the ins and out of this BEAST, I am like: Dang This is amazing Thanks for the video, Doug, I'm sure I gonna appreciate my neighbours RAM a bit more; )PS: 2013 Dodge Charger Pursuit review in the future? :) (I don't own one, I am just curious if can review one, please)

I really enjoy Dougs videos but if youre going to review a truck especially a ram heavy duty with a Cummins its a lot different then cars. Just because Chrysler apparently has reliability issues doesnt mean this thing would have those issues. My dads friend has a brand new f150 that had to go the dealer a bunch of times for at least 10 different recalls whereas my dads brand new ram has only had about 3 recalls

Worst part is the idiots who buy this truck arent gonna do any work with it. 99% of the time this truck is on the road it will have a single passenger and no load. Yet the same idiots who drive these trucks for pleasure (using them for work is different) constantly complain about fuel prices. Oil is a finite resource and yet you will have people using this truck that gets 8mpg unloaded to get grocery's.

I live in Philly. Or shall we just say Up North East Caost lol. And everyone traded in their Rams for F150s this spring and summer and ima tell u this Those F150s are the stylishly capable full size big power trucks on the road. Every other brand tries to one up it. Annnndddd Dougggg U made everyone get 2013 2014 Raptors. They are everywhere now. Getting a F150. Raptor if the credit run right ctfu

I love my 2017 Cummins It tows my gooseneck like nothing. Although, I have the base model, because I don't need all that fancy shit for hauling and working. Also, Cummins has always had a I6 in dodges/Rams. The vast majority of Semis use I6 engines too. You get the best torque per cc in an I6. They're simpler engines which last a very long time.

I thought I was crazy back in 2003 when I bought a 45, 000 Ram 3500 SRW 6 speed manual with the Cummins. No way could I ever imagine paying MORE than a corvette, Porsche or some other luxury vehicle for a pickup truck. The pricing on these has gone out of control. who the heck can afford an 85k pickup?
reply

Ontario California? Not even for 85K Canadian Dollars. Paying this price only encourages these manufacturers to not innovate. Realize taxpayers are footing the bill as a business expense but I suppose we subsidize 10, 000 first class seats and private jets. screwy ass system if you ask me.
