A review for 20 something looking for a cool factor. For a 24 min long review, he missed alot and other things he did not just understand. Mentioning the color of the calipers, but not that its 6 pistond from Brembo. Sending voice mail = todays sticky note to self. GPH/LH i had in my old 1989 Opel Omega. Is he thinking that the don not sign is about position of the cars when jump starting? Dosent mention the crisp speaker system from B&WThumbs down for this revwiev

5: 48 - It's not just awkward it's also dangerous This kind of gear lever is what killed 'Star Trek' star Anton Yelchin. He forgot that the car was in neutral instead in parking, and who can blame him it's not obvious. So his car was on a slope in front of the garage door. He got out in fornt of the car to open the garage door, and the car moved and crushed him against the door. This kind of lever should be prohibited by law It's fing idiotic.

I really like this car, but if the car is electric, supercharged and turbocharged, and makes 495ft-lb of torque, how does it only go from 0-60 in 4. 5 seconds? That seems a bit slow for those numbers. I guess the hybrid engine + batteries adds a bit of weight, and puts it near the top of the curbweights listed on Wikipedia: 3, 7004, 450 lb

They only made 20 because they know: NO ONE will buy a performance volvo in America. This is not your favorite sports car brand. It is a niche market. Even the car itself looks like a regular volvo with tech that will be implemented later on. Scenario: You: Hey, I got a volvo s60 polestar. Them: You got a volvo? It's nice buuuttttt.

You're completely wrong about the shifter. Almost every other automaker has changed to the electronically controlled shifter. Big reason why ZF is so popular and even Audi has switched to it is because there's no mechanical connection. Even the C7 RS6's shifter feels like something from the 90s because of the way it moves.

Doug jumping to conclusions without facts as often, the tunnel in the space for the feet of the middle seat passenger is not for battery stuff, its the same an al s60s also without hybrid. and in what competitor can you stretch out your feet like he says? You kinda always have to spread your feet in the middle seat.

It's funny every time you list something saying that nobody will probably use it, it's a feature I'd like in my car. For example the function record and send by email. I can see myself using it regularly, shame you don't explain if the email addresses stays recorded instead of explaining twice what it does.

So on the GPH, my family has a different volvo model and I have noticed that it switches between GPH and MPG depending on whether you are moving or not. When idling at a light it switches to GPH. My thinking is it's telling you how long it could stay on for while idling? I have no idea though.
