I have a Audi TT 2000 180 hp The car for a person who loves to modify dream its endless the body kits that they have for this car can transform it into something that looks like it came out to show room yesterday my car gets so much attention wherever I go I pull up next to a brand new Lexus or a brand new BMW nobody knows that its a 2000 I got a brand new body kit on it rims tires and dumped about 340 horses into the car now its expensive to modify it but I have personal issues by paying child support so if I buy a brand new car they want to know where the moneys coming from so I bought an old car and fixed it up its a 2000 so its not worth anything and no matter what she says the book value says its a 2000 vehicle and its not worth anything it has 225, 000 miles on it but you know I completely remanufactured everything so either pay a car note or remanufactured the car it might be a little bit more expensive but you will have a car thats not a Me to car you will truly stand out by yourself there are not many of them on the road once you modify it you have an awesome vehicle one more thing haldex The Quattro system I can control it with a touch motion controller I can go from front wheel drive or all wheel drive to rear wheel drive at the touch of a button and add 50 more horses to the car HPA motor sport

I had a 2008 and the Mk2 version, which came out that year, addressed the issues with this version. Audi's 2 liter turbo had zero 'lag' compared with the one reviewed here -torque hit peak at 1500rpm and stayed there until over 4500. I ended up with at BMW 328i (and it's 'naturally aspirated' straight 6) after my TT got totaled and boy do I miss that torque There's no comparison. The Mk2 had a completely redesigned aluminum frame wrapped around a steel wall behind the passenger seats and again compared to the Mk1, AND to my BMW, the thing was solid as a rock. Also loved the upside-down bathtub look compared to all the wussy cars out there that are dressed up to look like sports cars and couldn''t even come close to my TT's performance.

I have never paid the TT much mind because I too believed it to just be a dressed up Golf, which isn't bad at all, but wasn't much else than that -> I'd rather just have the Golf. But this was really eye opening for me. Never looked at it with such detail and it's really got some awesome points about it. It has just the right amount of tech, simple, elegant all around, very nice. Definitely see this car in a whole new light now. Very cool indeed.

Fun fact. if the temperature outside is around 70 degrees f and you are in fifth gear and you got about half a tank of gas, and you are driving 70 mph, all 4 center gauges point in the same direction. How is that useful? One time I got on the highway and didnt realize I was on fourth gear. However my gauges just didnt look right, they all pointed in different directions and I had half a tank of gas. That alerted me that something was not right

I'd say it's one of the ugliest cars ever created, though time has treated it exceptionally well, and it isn't a vomit inducing anymore. I can somewhat agree with the wheelarch thing, but that's just about only thing I can give it to it. Then again, I do think that allmost every car since mid 90's are ugly, some more than others, some less than others. how ever there is handfull of exceptios that are borderline good looking to this.

How is it underrated- when it is acknowledged as a design Icon And COLT Car If you knew anything about cars you'd know the quattro sport tt is shooting up In value - and MUCH rarer than it's contemporaries and ALREADY a CLASSIC You dumb ass Values are on the floor for the other cars because they've got to the bottom of the depreciation curve and were way too mass produced.

Points missed. The storage box between the seats on the back wall. I call it the elbow activated box. Because you hit your elbow on it quite easy and it pops open. It also has a soft top cover that stores in the truck. I really cleans up the look of car with the top down but is a pain to install, hard to get in the truck and takes up too much space. A fun drive

Never been a fan of that generation TT. Looks like a squished Beetle designed by someone with a black turtleneck. To round and to symmetrical front back. Also - the thing with the wheel arches in the hood is Audis fault? Most cars looks like shit with this design IMHO. Especially the Arteon. Love those seats though

Quite funny about that powertrain reliabilty. It uses the same 1. 8L turbo engines as from the golf 4, which are known to be very reliable even over 300. 000 km on it and are very upgradeable to get it to produce more than the 3. 2L v6 which actually came from the r32 golf 4, even with that same dsg gearbox.

5: 00 shows interior of a w210 with the most beautiful first class high quality real wooden trim in the world everywhere to show how bad 90s interiors were and how great the cheap aluminium in the Audi is. Makes sense. And by the way I have a w202 those buttons feel really high quality when you press them.
