You always brag about how cheaply you purchased your (personal) Lexus and Toyota's and act like anyone can do it. It would be nice if (at least once) you acknowledged the (most likely) reality that you usually buy the cars from your customers so (since you work on the car) you know EVERYTHING about the car. Additionally, you already have a pre existing relationship with your customer (so they probably like you) so you have an unfair advantage to be able to get a good price AND you get to cherry pick your cars. Or maybe you found out your customer passed away, and you possibly bought the deceased persons car from their relative? Whatever the case, you have advantages with your job, customers, and fame that average viewers do not. It would be nice if you said that in at least one of your videos, rather than acting like buying a low mileage older lexus for peanuts is a piece of cake for everyone because the fact is. it isn't. Good, Low Mileage, older Toyotas are usually in high demand no matter what the case. So while you have the luxury of taking your time buying your cars super-cheap from your customers, your viewers are forced to deal with the REAL WORLD demand associated with GOOD used cars. Just sayin.

Subaru. MY CVT is just fine as frog fur. Scotty the CVTs seem to be here to stay and for a CVT my Subaru seems just fine to me. Why are they so bad in your opinion? I have a CVT in my Honda inside too. No complaints. Not everyone is looking for the fasted 0 to 60 and something to do burnouts in. To some, it is all about mileage mileage mileage. 30 average in the Forester and 50 in the Insight.

I have a 2011 SS Camaro and Ive never had one problem and I just bought a new Dodge Challenger in April and its a great car. I have a Jeep I bought new in 2010 and have never had any problems, the point is Chevy and Dodge are just as good as any other car. My neighbor is a Toyota guy and purchased a new van and Corolla and has had nothing but problems.

I just bought a brand new 2019 ecoboost premium mustang with every package and feature included (fully loaded) 7k less than buying a new. 2020 ecoboost mutang with maybe a few features. I also bought it with the 0% apr financing ford credit deal. Tip: if buying new. Buy the previous year right when the new years are coming in. ;)

HAHAHA My 2018 Forester came with a lifetime warranty from the dealer on the powertrain and Subaru (Corporate) warranties my CVT transmission for 10 years. Even if it does fail, its free. I even thought it was too good to be true so I had my attorney take a look at the lifetime warranty and everything was on the up and up.

With all these mechanical issues with internal combustion engines/transmissions, why not just purchase an electric vehicle. No transmission, no spark plugs, 370 mile range faster than a speeding bullet, less than a quarter of the moving parts that can break down the road. Just doesn't seem to make sense anymore.

I have rarely seen a clutch relay go bad (though it does happen. The first place I would check would be the clutch itself. If the air gap is too wide because of wear, clutch operation will be intermittent. Same with the clutch cycling switch. I would check those first before replacing the relay

Scotty, I have a 2001 grand caravan sport with the 3. 3L, 214K miles and still going strong. The only bad thing so far is the annoying headliner sagging. steering wheel hard to steer and gets soft at times (normal) could it be the lower ball joints or the complete rack/pinion assembly?

Do not buy Dodge Caravan unless you want to have a death wish. They have the worst crash test rating in any vehicle. Van has bad crash test ratings as it is but Dodge takes the cake. If you have to have a mini van, get a Honda or Toyota. At least they have a decent crash test ratings.
