All I have to say is Im glad I didnt buy a new Supra, even though Im a huge Toyota 1jz and 2jz fan that drives a older BMW 325i and 86 Trans Am. The new generation supra will never be the same as the older generations Supra. BMW always made great six cylinder engines compared to the fours, eights, tens and twelves when it comes to a balance of performance and reliability. But Im not mad, Im actually quite surprised Toyota made a partnership with BMW for the turbocharged six cylinder. The great thing about the BMW engine is the decrease in turbo lag. But the exhaust notes on the modern BMW six cylinders sound like fart cans with modded exhaust like Remus compared to the older BMW six cylinder engines.

You are clueless man. Zero supras on the planet ever came with a motor fully manufactured and designed by Toyota. Not sure why youre acting like the sky is falling over them continuing this routine for the drivetrain. Even the 2jz-gte was a joint venture between Yamaha, Toyota and Hitachi. At least with the BMW motor, people wont be replacing the bottom ends at 100, 000 miles like they did with the Yamahas. Also, its been reported for the past two days that it WILL have a manual gearbox option. And niche car? What Supra wasnt a niche car? Any sports car is a niche car. Sports IS the niche lol. BMW has 3 series and 4 series sedans and coupes with B58 and manual And they are just regular sedans and coupes - i mean for example a 4 door sedan with manual and b58 engine that will be driven by soccer mom or some office clerk lol while Supra will not even have manual option. Toyota lost this one and face planted big time. not to mention S55 and S58 engines that M3 and m4 has also with manual options - thats just miles better than new supra can ever be. I think Toyota needs to stop trying to fake sports cars. Stick to corollas for grannies Toyota - thats what you can do.

If they couldnt design another decent inline 6 engine they should have just stuck the damn 5. 7L v8 from the tundra in there and make a japanese pony car to compete against the mustang, camaro, and challenger. Could even have a special one with the TRD supercharger kit they offered in the tundra with 500hp and 550tq that would have been a monster in that little car. In staid they tease us with lies and then try to sell us some eurotrash bmw disguised as an frs/brz.

Its not a real supra and guhh doesnt even come in a manual-people that never spend five figures on a vehicle, and are not the target audience for the vehicle. As a manual-only owner, I still admit the autos have been faster for years, and that you dont absolutely need the third pedal for driver engagement and all that. Cant you guys be happy that the styling is decent, they used a straight-six (superior sound over V6 and Supra traditional, and that they bothered even making it in a dying segment?

there also the electric impact drillshitachi220v700 w 35 kg torqueno air no norhingconstant + stable outputand i also use it when mobile repairingwith just a 1000w inverter plugged in the car. no baterries no nothingway more efficient and cheaper. bought it 10 years ago 400 euro on sale weekthe only screw it cant untighten is crank bolt of hyundai accent 1. 3 12vfor this i have to lock the flywheel with special tool and do it manually because no impact wrench can.

BMW and Toyota arent as far apart as people might think - both used to make solid, dependable cars; now, both make far more complicated cars with a lot more to go wrong. BMWs have always driven really nicely, though. At the end of the day, if BMW are good enough for Toyota, then theyre good enough for us Either way, the new Supra wont be as legendary as the old one. The 90s Japanese twin-turbo supercars are iconic and wont ever be bettered.

Like your videos I disagree with your electric vs air speech. I love my air tools always loved the sound but these electric ones such as Milwaukee 1/2 impact gun not only keeps up with big air tools such as snap on and ignasol rand but exceeds there torque. You can watch reviews on a wheelhelm (however you spell it) and Ive personally know these things last for a while before needing to change a battery then it just recharges lol.
