If Your Car Has This Problem, Stop Driving Immediately Dimitris Mandas: Scotty I need a little help I have a Hyundai lantra 1997 before 1 year I change the coolant and after a while I havent any more hot blowing off fan inside the car only a little. Inside the car I havent any leaks temperature of engine is great what you think? I have to wash the fridge for the hot air? And how? Some mechanics say with a tool we wash the system but Im afraid the pressure and the liquids they use maby it can make more bad of good maby it Ill make a hall and the heat fridge is inside the dash is very difficult to change it. Some people have said to me to was the system with normal water. What you think? Please answer me its very cold here in Greece now.

Whenever its cold and I start my Jeep up the oil pressure is around 55psi when idling cold, but once driven when its still cold it goes up to 75psi and after it gets to operating temp it idles right in the middle at 40psi and when given a bunch of gas is slowly climbs to 55psi MAX. I run 10w30 oil in the Jeep right now. I fear I might have a blockage. Im hoping its not that and I can just go with a different oil for the cold. I heard many people use Rotella T6 5w40 diesel oil in the Jeep 4. 0s. What are you thoughts on this?

Hey, Scotty, I see that you are on the opinion that Toyotas or the older ones at least are one of the most reliable cars but in none of your videos I saw you talking about the 2003 Toyota Avensis with the D4D engine. Whats your opinion on it if you get it in 2018 for 4000 Dollars and for a 16-year car what should I look for and should I invest money to make sure everything is in order or should I sell it and get something else? Great Videos, thank you for the time and information

Love your blog. If the oil pressure checks out good. It might be a faulty gauge in the dashboard or the dashboard going out. I have a 04 Buick Rainer (same as a Chevy Trailblazer. All of the gauges in the dashbosrd are shot. My temp is pegged on 260 degrees, but it is not over heating. Plenty of anti freeze in it. Here on YouTube plenty of videos about bad dashboards. They can and often do go out. My point being if gauge readings are off check fluids n if you have the tools check the pressures.

to Im yesl Im a former Chrysler dealership flat rate tech long time. if your trans concern is with cold engine. start engine give it a couple revs up too 3 k rpm and see what happens. most likely internal seal leakage. if this helps you this concern may not effect the car in any way for many more miles or you can opt for a trans overhaul or replacement. . change the fluid and by no means am I a fan of snake oil but Lucas Tran fix is a big help for slight internal seal leakage. good day

Scotty What would you say is wrong when your car just dies while youre driving but as soon as you take your foot off the accelerator it comes back to life. My car is a 2003 Hyundai Elantra. It does it mostly when I am accelerating after a stop sign or have slowed to turn a corner then accelerating away. Any advice you have may save me some serious money if you can help. Thanx either way you have already helped me so much in the past and I appreciate it so much. God bless.

Hey Scotty. I have seen a fuse blowing problem twice that was caused by a loose connectors/terminals in the fuse box itself. If the fuse slides in too easily or a corroded connection that causes a spotty connection it can cause fuses to blow. Both times I replaced or by past the fuse connector and the problem was gone. I have told others to look for a weak connection in the system and they too had success in repairing the problem. Love your videos.

Scotty: I disagree with the Ford Bronco starting the SUV movement (3: 12. Jeep started in the 50s, then International came out with the Scout in the early 60s to compete with the Jeep. The first generation for Bronco was basically a copy of the International Scout 80/800. Just look at the similarities in body style. I really like the old Broncos and Scout though. They are easy to work on

One other question Scotty. How come there are not more specialists in automotive? Wouldnt it be wanted to have shops that just do electrical for instance? I know there are some front-end specialty shops but even not too many of those. Electrical seems a big one As you say it is so hard to trace or figure out sometimes and obviously if thats all one did then would be most proficient. Thanks.

Those dodge trucks are nothing but money pits, we had one and the spark plugs kept melting literally, the rear diff kept making this whining noise and we paid 600 dollars for it to get repaired, the computer went bad the fan clutch went bad and the the radiator went bad as well. It was an 04 dodge 1500 with the 5. 7 and it was absolute garbage dont buy one
