Let me save you all a lot of time. a Chevy truck is the only vehicle worth owning. And heres why: 1. Parts are available anywhere2. They are as reliable as anything else - including any Ford or any Toyota3. They come with the same warranty as any other brand. 4. They cost less than Ford or Toyota. So even if you do get a couple more years out of others - you didnt pay as much initially. Early dollars are worth more. 5. They look better6. They have more day to day handy features - such as lighting and the step up tailgate and lower tail gate. 7. Mechanics anywhere know how to work on them 8. Bose sound systems rock9. The clear coat looks new 10 years old 10. Chevy + GMC = best selling truck in the history of humanity. Are that many people wrong? No

Kia had GDI problems with their cars as well. They told that software fix lie too. I really have to wonder if these manufacturers are trying to drive everyone to buying battery powered cars. What a messed up world where Honda's and Toyota's built from 1995 to 2008-and you better check the models repair recall history first-are the only cars worth owning now. As always, thanks for the info and by the way, Scotty is not the only person saying this about the new Honda turbo-GDI four cylinders. These damn cars cost so much money new now too. What a complete ripoff.

I gotta tell ya Scotty I'm a bit surprised and greatly saddened. I had one of those 4 cylinder water cooled 750 cc motor cycles. I've told everyone I've heard about wanting to get a new or new used car what you have been saying just like me. Talk to a mechanic that works on all cars and ask what do you work on the least. My wife and I between us have 6 kids (all from previous marriages) and we all drive either Honda's or Toyota's or the up models of them. I listen to you every day. Keep up the good work. Love what you do.

I've told everyone I've heard about wanting to get a new or new used car what you have been saying just like me. Talk to a mechanic that works on all cars and ask what do you work on the least. My wife and I between us have 6 kids (all from previous marriages) and we all drive either Honda's or Toyota's or the up models of them. I listen to you every day. Keep up the good work. What I don't understand is why they even went to the 1. 5. If it's for efficiency, they're rated what, 1 mpg higher than the 2. 4 was? and slightly more power but not what I would consider enough to sacrifice reliability for. (15lb/ft torque. If it was hitting 40mpg on the highway, sure, take a shot. But to completely swap engines to get barely any benefit seems like a waste. Just because the k24 is old doesn't mean it needs replacing, at least until there's something significantly better.

Im just curious this engine is now the bread and butter in all of Hondas products from the Accord to the CRV as that 1. 5 turbo is replacing the old 2. 4 NA (iVTEC) engine. What changes have they made besides the software update or is this a problem with all of them continuing even to the ones that are currently coming off the assembly line? I can see class action lawsuits from this eventually. Theres going to be loss of resale value on those models affected.

I love my wife's odyssey for the most part but God damn the transmissions are junk yes it hasn't quit on me and behaves pretty well for the most part but it always clunks and takes it's time getting into gear only from park to drive or reverse. It also vibrates when it drops to 3 cylinders on the highway. Otherwise it's great but I wish toyota would update the sienna cause the only good looking one is the xse lol.

My friend got an used 2016 Acura TLX with about 20, 000 miles last month from the local dealer and it was a leased car before he bought it. Yesterday the battery died on him. He took it to the dealer and after he parked it outside the dealership it wouldn't start again. The mechanic at the dealership thought he brought in a Chrysler LOL. They replaced the battery for free since it was still under warranty.

Hey Scotty Ive been driving Hondas for the last 13 years. I bought a brand new CRV may of 2017 Was planning to keep the car for 10+ years but I just sold it today. Shame on Honda for not fixing this In the past 30 months my car spent two weeks at the Honda dealership They were having to change the oil every 1000 miles and I would get warning lights coming off and on all the time

I'm not too sure 'Oil Dilution' is a problem. The amount of dilution would be about 1 part fuel in 6 parts oil. I have been using Two Stroke engines for over 60 years, where the dilution ratio is I part Oil in 50 parts of Fuel. i. e. much more fuel than oil. Have also ridden 1920 motorcycles, that had your first name. Hi Hi.
