This New Chinese SUV is Coming to America (The End of American Car Companies) Dyno: Hey Scotty, mad love from land of the million km Toyota, Cape Breton. I've got an 05 2dr Blazer, 5 speed I got for 1k, it's my winter rig. I am looking though at either a 2014 police interceptor on auction, or a 2008 Matrix. I understand that old cop cars has a list of things be aware of, like sitting idling for hours on end, but I'm not too sure of what else to look at, when I do a once over at the auction. The matrix is a 5 speed with 210000kms, and I've always loved Toyota's had a tercel I had for years and was tank. The guy wants 1200 for it.

Hey Scotty first of all Im blessed to live at the time where I can watch you share your wisdom online for the lowlow price of free. I just bought a 2008 Honda Civic 1. 8 6-speed manual with 160tkm (100 000 miles) in it and perfect service record from a dealer (Finland has kinda strict consumer protection laws so the dealer is responsible for many things even on old vehicle like that) for 6000 euros (definitely on the cheaper side of things just to give you an idea of our pricing around here. Anyhow I was thinking that it probably has atleast another 100tkm in it with decent servicing, do you agree? Also was thinking of doing ethanol conversion for 400 as the gas prices are getting kinda out of hand here and I could with current pricing get my moneys worth in under 3 years.

Apple smartphones and many Chevy parts are made in China- why they are crap. Android phone glass is made in Kentucky and more difficult to break, battery power lasts longer and they cost less. South Korean vehicles are getting better- many reviewers like the Kia Telluride. I would consider gambling with the Kia Niro hybrid and its long warranty. We are hoping our 3 Mazda CX-5s hold up, it was a new design in 2013.

You're right Scotty. I drive a Sterling at work and it's got the Mercedes in it. It definitely don't compare to a Detroit and no way to a Cummins, or Cat. It literally is a piece of junk. I've driven the Louisville for quite some time as well as older Sterling trucks and they both Held up with no problems, but these Mercedes crapper jacks forget it.

I can now see tesla will do the china importing now. They are going to build cars in China and there is a battery factory in America. Cheap labor in China and working the system. Then they can take down that tent factory and fire everyone and save money. Made in China assembled in America Tesla's new slogan, coming soon.

Given the troubles with the trade deficit, unfair competition, subsidies, IP theft, shipping jobs offshore and the threat a giant communist economy on Western life, culture, safety, religious freedom & security, it is reasonable to question whether communist country auto products should be allowed in Western markets.

Scottie does a maf sensor go bad without throwing a code and you notice ave mpg not as good as it was. I had fuel injectors cleaned, maf sensor and throttle body cleaned and new air filter changed on a 2016 Toyota Camry. Could maf sensor or air/fuel sensor be going out before an obd2 code pops up? As someone who works in the nuclear industry, We are not allowed to use Chinese made shackles or slings. We do this so there will be no damage to personnel or equipment. Why? Because their stuff is inferior. If they can't make a simple shackle, why would I ever trust them to make a vehicle.

Well, as for Chrysler im scrambled about the change's made, that has happened over year's. with the company's all mixed up into something out of this. In the late 70's it was a pretty dam good im talking about the Newport Chrysler 2 door & Dodge Omni, & i hate to see them fade away.

Scotty the un agenda is to destroy industry in each country so we have to buy from other countries and use the shipping lines - look at australia they have done the same thing here - we produce wool then send it to china then we buy woolen clothes from china.
