Toyota Camry vs Toyota Corolla, Which is a Better Buy Allen: So true about test driving cars. We went to a Toyota dealer thinking we'd buy a Corolla (we had an old Camry that we planned to keep, but since the new Corollas were larger & better looking than the past- we thought we'd buy a Corolla. We had a very nice & patient salesman & started out with a Corolla, then drove a Camry LE, then a Camry SE. The seats in the Camry SE were much more comfortable than the LE's. We bought a Camry SE and its been a great car & are so glad we took the time to drive the 3 models we were considering

The station wagon was dead by 1983 when Lee Iacocca made the K based 1984 Plymouth Voyager/ Dodge Caravan mini vans. People liked the mini vans over the gas thirty station wagon because the vans were easier to paraell park and park in a garage and easy on gas. Remember we had a oil crunch back in 1980. Lee worked for Ford Moter Company he worked on the mini van project and Henry Ford II said that mini van was not going to sell. Then Lee went to Chrysler too Hal Spericlick with him and they had the missing indrigrant for the flat floor van the K platform. The profit from the first K car paved the way for the mini vans introduced in 1983 for the 1984 model year. Lee killed the station wagon industry.

Hi Scotty. Greetings of the day. I appreciate the knowledge you share with us. Please help me with this one: My Hyundai grand i10, which is 3 years old has 44000 miles on it. The clutch has become hard. The problem is, whenever I go at 1400-1500 rpm, I hear a wobbly noise coming from the front of the car. This stops if I take my foot off accelerator pedal and still cruse at 1500 rpm. Is it because of the clutch? Or anything else. if it's the clutch, do I need to change the plates or clutch wire. Yes recently the car shudders a bit in 1st gear. There's no drop in mileage and pick up. Although I feel the top end smoothness has reduced

I sold my 98 Corolla LE w/ a 1. 8L for a 99 Camry XLE w/a 2. 2L. The weird thing was how different the cars were from one another- like they were from 2 different companies making them. Both are very reliable, but the Camry's steering wheel NEVER shakes, not eben a little. I drive 400 highway miles / wk, so I want a smooth ride. I spent trying to get my Corolla to ride smooth, including alloys, Bilstiens and a whole new Proforged front end. Nope My 98 Camry is the best overall car I've ever owned, but my 92 Subaru Legacy fwd wagon had hands-down the best steering ever

Tbh after gone through 5 toyotas since the 90s in the family. Japanese cars sure have its charm. But man the plastics they use in the car gets a bit old overtime. The build quality, panel gaps and corner cut to save cost honestly have gone too far in recent years, they are not bulletproof despite what people would like to say. Sitting in a golf really changed my mind completely. It is a more costly vehicle to maintain but l would argue it is a better car than the corollas and camery. More refined interior, build and driving experience.

My mother purchased a new 1971 Corolla wagon. If I remember correctly, the paint color was named Gleam Blue. I drove it over 300 miles every weekend taking my siblings to and from our grandparent's homestead. We all loved the car. It never failed our family. I taught all of my siblings to drive with it. Our dogs loved laying in the back of the wagon when guarding the yard from squirrels. I purchased a new 1980 beige Corolla wagon. It's my all time favorite vehicle. It never failed our family. These days, we only drive pre-computer era vehicles.

Also bought a 2014 to 16 corolla. But got a 2013 Camry SE for my first car. Love it. Took some time getting use to a sedan. Still not good at getting out. My family took it for a family road trip down to flordia. I sat in the back for 10 hours. It is honestly very comfortable. Ny dad it was more comfortable than my moms Lexus. I think my camry looks so good. The grey attitude black and black rims and tinted windows. And black interior. Love it.

HOUSTON I Hate trying to do East to West or West to East and Houston is on the way. if you pick the wrong time, just get A Room then check out 3: AM before you continue on, you will get to your destination almost as fast and you feel Much BETTER. Dear Texas. We need a way to Bypass Houston (aka the Multiple 5-10 Lane Highway Parking Lots) We are NOT Los Angeles or (gag) California. WE can Do This

I have rented a Corolla le and a Camary, the Corolla was more fun the Camary more like a adult's car. I prefer the Corolla by far (though that display is an afterthought and should've been better integrated into the dash, you know, like that Camary's. Also the Corolla was built in Japan, the Camera in Kentucky - both struck me as well built, the Corolla had 4k miles on it and the Camary had 25k.

Some mechanics love toyota coz it has nothing special ( easy to fix ) blaming other automaker for what they think unreliable ( more sophisticated. Drive BMW 1991 fast on sharp bend and do the same with toyota 2020 and compare the result. In conclusion they dont like marvelous cars because they dont know how to fix it and if they do try they messup saying the car is bad and its a money pit.
