I'm not gonna buy anything that's an electric hybrid. Scotty has explained it's bad news to have a hybrid electric system if you plan on keeping the car past warranty due to insane repair costs. I've heard the new WRX may be hybrid electric too, I have zero interest in that. It's the EPA crap that's causing this alongside CA with their wacky emission regs. I read about the MPG standards and they are absurd, like 54 MPG. No sports car is gonna get that kind of mileage, and few sedans will either. Only extremely slow weak engines, electric hybrids, and pure electric cars will exist in that realm. Even more ridiculous is that the companies supposedly pay fines so they can keep churning out those big gas hog SUVs. I'm guessing those costs from the fines get rolled into the price of the vehicles.

Most cars made today are built to fall apart after the warranty expires. Car makers do not want us to keep them after x number of years. In the past, the cars would just rust out, or the engine would fail after about one hundred thousand miles. Then you would be forced to buy a new one. Now they just load them up with crappy electronics and plastic crap so that the vehicle will be unfixable. Now they only want you lease them, then they resell it, and then hope that it costs you too much to maintain, so that the next buyer will have to junk it! I believe that their next strategy is, you will not even own your own car, just rent or timeshare it, and then you will have to pay them a monthly payment forever!

I got a Toyota Tacoma at a ford dealer and it was the lowest price Tacoma in my area. Has since turned out to be a great truck. The guy had it for 6 years n traded it on a full size truck. I got an 80k 12 4x4 (its downfall, to most buyers, which is why it didn't sell quick. was because it was an access cab and 6 ft bed, however its exactly what i wanted, but most want the 4 door with the useless bed, n i dont blame em they look nice. Any i schooled these guys for 10k. The cheapest similar truck at the time was 14k, n that truck seriously had 40k more miles it had 120k. I love these little truck.

As a Midwesterner (aka someone who has to drive in snow) I dont appreciate the idea that regular, everyday vehicles may transition back to rear wheel drive. we moved to FWD for a reason. I totally get Mustangs or Miatas having rear wheel drive, those are sporty vehicles and consumers know what theyre getting. But if Mazda, and then Honda, Toyota, Ford, etc decide their everyday drivers (the Accords, Corollas, Focuses) should go back to RWD that would necessitate many of us needing to purchase AWD vehicles that are more and less efficient than the FWD cars that do just fine now.

Talking about Mazda doesn't my 2016 3. 7L V6 in my Lincoln MKZ AWD share the same engine? FYI I'm well aware of PTU maintenance and I rarely drive it. I can't wait till warm enough weather to see how she flies around corners with my new Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires it came with tiger paws aka CRAP those uniroyals had major flat spots when temps went under 40

Does anyone remember the 2016 Honda Civic recall? The wrist pin clips (engine) were improperly installed or not installed at all. Or the 2018 Toyota Camry recall? They put the wrong pistons (engine) in the 4 cyl. engines. I would rather have loose but easily fixed wiper blades. Used 2016 Civics or 2018 Camrys won't have the typical resale value? I don't know.

Those tires shops now a day can't seem to know how to F balance the tires. 2 places I went to in the last year and none of them know how to balance my tires on both of my vehicles. Took to a different shop and had the guys there re-balance it, now no more shaking on high speed. Kind of piss me off when they can't do a simple job right the first time.

Is it good idea to buy an used Mazda(2009 elegance business) 6 2. 0l petrol with automatic transmission? It have done about 130000km (about 80, 000 miles) for 7800 euros (about 8500 USD. The main reason I am going in with this car is because I fell in love with this when I saw it for the first time over a decade ago.
